So, I've been tinkering around with every delivery device type that is fairly common around here. Done the ego-c, carto tanks, clearomizers, and RBAs. What got me to thinking is the sort of "Boge-gate" situation. I LOVE carto tanks. Easy to use, and with a Kir Fanis/AGR/several models now, the filler port seems to have made them about the most hassle free long lasting delivery device around. Mind you, I like everything else for various reasons, but this brings me to my question....

Is there something that incorporates the flexibility, customization and quality available in carto tanks with something like a clearomizer head? It seems like being able to "choose what you can afford" for a tank, and then having a modular tube/head combo that would fit all 510 tanks would be awesome! They have the benefit of good taste, good vapor, and simple rebuildability(woo fake words), but they are for the most part complete systems.

Now, the protank 2 is definitely a step in the right direction, but wouldn't it be awesome if you could throw a clearo head into a phinniac or whatever and vape away? I've looked into things like the diver and killer, but a) resistance/non-resistance wiring and the fact that I can't just go buy a head to screw in makes them not particularly great for throwing in a pocket and heading off to work. Coupled with the fact that if they need to be swapped while I'm away from the "vape workstation" I'm kinda screwed also hurts.

Does something like this exist? I mean it seems like all you'd need would be a small attachment with a battery input on the bottom, and some sort of 510 sized tube that tapers down onto an evod/protank style vapor hole.... Maybe it's a pipe dream, or someone will read this and make money in 6 months when they come up with it, who knows :2cool:

X10 Bottom coil tank
??
Well, OK.. doesn't cover everything.. but it's a nice step..

Doesn't that still require you to use THAT particular tank? I get where you're going, but there are just so many amazing 510 tanks out there that are begging to have a BCC integrated for use in them!

I find that this is a good option. all the convience of whatever tank you want to use without having to change out to a new cartomizer every few days.

That would fit the bill for me for my short tanks! Nice, easy to rebuild, almost exactly as I rebuild evod/T3S coils.
Price is a bit prohibitive though, as well as only Standard carto size.. :(

actually, I got some carto-extenders and can now use mine in larger tanks!!! :D
it is a high up-front expense, but the long-term projections I made actually make it cost me about $5.50/mo because since I got it, I have rebuilt it once - and used it for 5 different juices so far without having to rebuild to get rid of the old flavor!!
after a quic dry-burn, I was able to switch form menthol to blueberry without any menthol taste. Not bad at all, really.

edit - the extenders, I got here: http://www.avidvaper.com/510-atomizer-tube-extender/

I've been pining over the Diver for a couple of weeks now. My only issue with it is the res/no-res wire. I've read about doing it with just res wire, but I'm not sure if that was "one guy made it work this one time" or if it really needs the spliced wire.

EDIT: Part of is has been the desire to get one domestically. Shipping and such can be pretty horendous from some of those sites. Supposedly Phinniac has some on the way.... might hold out for a week and see what happens with that.

NR wire is not needed for this one... watched one of the youtube vids for it and it used kanthral(sp?) A-1 only, very simular to the evod/T3S/protank coil rebuild.

Now.. I also found a clone which is XL for us DCT users...
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...er-systems/448582-diver-clone-pyrex-tank.html
is a thread for it...

When someone finally brings it out, should be much easier to handle the cost...

Definitely don't mess with no res wire myself. All 2 of the coils I made for mine in the 2 months I've had it were 32 gauge kanthol. I made two because I over dry burned one and had to replace it :)

once you master genesis RBA's they are the most reliable, most tasty, most everything. My current wick has been in there for months, the vape quality has only improved and aside from putting in more juice and charging the batteries i don't have to do anything to maintain it.

Curious, are you saying you never clean your genny? And, what kind of juice are you using? Pretty much all of my ADV rotation juice is 100vg... I assume that HAS to have some affect on it.
