You are completely correct. I did steep it for about a week, which now from what you wrote, is not enough time. And to ITC's defense, I have vaped other chocolates and cannot vape them, either. I don't know if it's because I don't like chocolate vapes, or because of the reaction Dirty Dutchman caused.

And, you are also correct that I did not give it a "bath." I refuse to do this with all of my juices, Nicoticket, Ahlusion, or the stuff I get from a DIY guy. I don't believe in them and I feel it ruins the taste of the product in the long run.

You are incorrect about selling them. I did not sell them nor did I give them away. They went into the trash.

I also forgot to include the "peppery" taste I got from the juices. From what I've read, that is because of poor nicotine quality.

I don't feel as I am "slamming" ITC vapes. I am just giving an upfront, honest opinion about my experiences with them. I feel the truth be told because I don't want people to spend their money and be disappointed as I was. I am very, very happy that you enjoy them and happy for their followers which keep people off the smokes. That is the goal all around and I am grateful that ITC can do that for people.

Respectfully,
Dani
Well perhaps I wouldn't have considered it slamming if your words weren't "Nicoticket is premium eliquid, ITC is not". Especially when you gave this opinion based on your experience with unsteeped juice. When most people do reviews, they are not reviewing straight out of the mail or even a week in unless that company says their juice is good in a week.

As for a bath ruining the juice? I've certainly never heard of this with the exception of people boiling their liquid or throwing it in the microwave. If you live in a warm climate or even in the north during the summer, your juice is going to get a lot hotter for a lot longer then a 20 minute bath just during shipping. But even if you truly believe that despite even juice experts heating their juice for steeping, you don't actually have to heat it. It just takes longer. There really wouldn't have been anything to lose from putting the juice in a cupboard for a month and trying it then instead of just throwing it away and shooting down somebody's recommendation.

As for the peppery taste? I really don't taste that although I order in low nic for sub-ohming and even Nicoticket claims their juice is peppery at high levels and I've read about a peppery taste in Nicoticket reviews as well.

Not trying to start a big debate here. I just see a lot of bias against my original post and I want to address that. Because had I seen your comments about ITC before actually trying it for myself, "Truth Be Told", I would have probably skipped them and missed out big based on an opinion of unsteeped juice. I just hope others don't miss out.

Here is from Nicotickets site. Does this make their juice no longer "Premium" and instead using a cheap nic base like ITC apparently?

NOTICE:.Unflavored nicotine has a slight “peppery” taste that increases significantly at the higher levels of concentration. We recommend using the MINIMUM level that provides satisfaction for you.. If there is any question about which level might be right for you, contact us for a free consultation and we will do our best to customize a solution that provides the maximum amount of satisfaction and enjoyment.

I'm not going to go back and forth with you. You have your opinions and I have mine. I'm not going to change your views just as your views aren't going to change mine. I stand firm that I will not and do not recommend "warm bathing" my e-juice. I would rather shove it in the closet and wait a month and try it again. I can vape several of Nicoticket's juices fresh and they are delicious fresh. The Virus, Wakonda, and Grandma's Cinnamon Danish are prime examples.

I'm glad ITC vapes have kept you off the smokes. Nicoticket has done the same for me. If it weren't for that company, I would still be smoking because I couldn't find a juice company that fit the bill. Maybe that's why we are so passionate about it? Probably.

And I stand firmly what I said about Ahlusion's juices. I think they have a great line and come in as a second to Nicoticket, which was the entire reason for this thread.

Like I said, I am able to state my opinion. I said where I was wrong in not allowing it to steep long enough. But I refuse to give them anymore of my money. They have a large fan base so my money isn't going to break the bank with the loss of my business.

I wish you luck in staying smoke free, which is the ultimate goal of everyone. Like I said before, I am very happy that ITC vapes is able to do that for you.

Oberon, would you mind recommending an ITC juice for me to try? Tobacco's if possible, dessert if not. I also DIY from NET's I extract from whole leaf with cold maceration. I would be very interested in finding something I can enjoy when I don't have enough time to mix.

I know Oberon hasn't tried the ITC tobacco flavors yet, so I'll interject an opinion here...hope you don't mind! They have three that are a bit less ordinary:

Orangutan - A Turkish-type banana-nut tobacco, this is one of my favorite juices, both for flavor and as an analog craving-killer. It needs a bit longer steeping (3-4 weeks recommended) before the tobacco fully blooms.

Dirty Dutchman - This is a chocolate cigar RY4, and it's one of their best sellers. The chocolate dominates early on, but the stout cigar punches through after 2-3 weeks steep time. Over a longer period, it all blends together with vanilla and caramel backgrounds to a pretty fine dessert tobacco.

Tropical Leaves - A piña colada flavored Turkish-type tobacco, with the tobacco emerging more after proper steeping. I'm not a fan of pineapple flavor (which dominates at first), but I found myself reaching for this in the morning once it settled down.

They also offer a Turkish Blend, with variants Silver RY4 (tobacco-heavy) and Gold RY4 (more sweet added)...these are probably a bit too ordinary given your experience in the NET lane.

Thank you. I appreciate the information and also your taste notes. I will give a couple of these a try.

I tried the heaven's bounty again after breathing for 24 hours and steeping over a week. There is some flavor there, but it isn't the same as last time for me. Anyway, good luck with that, right? I think the takeaway for me here, is that nicoticket is actually a total freak in the e-juice world. Their stuff is actually really good, consistently. It shouldn't be that good, but it somehow is. Actually, I think they cheat somehow, you know, like a hacker playing an online game. You can't play fair and get juice that good, and that's the truth. I believe they have invoked some kind of wizardry or black magic, both of which may be considered ingredients not mentioned on the bottles :nah:

You've made me curious, Moonbogg. Heaven's Bounty wasn't a re-order for me, but after steeping 2 weeks from delivery date I remember it was sweet and creamy with a little spicy and tropical taste. I'm not a tropical guy much, but it was mellow.

I've still got about 6-7 mL left from my 50/50 18mg tryout bottle. It's 14 weeks old and the color of buckwheat honey. I think I'll load some up soon.

Yeah I used to love the stuff. I won't give up on the bottle. I'll let it steep a while. Hopefully it gets better.

To respond to the original OP's question who was seeking something other than Nicoticket, I highly recommend Steam Juice http://www.steamjuice.us/
For tobacco flavors, I second NiteLite Vapor's Bounty Hunter. and also recommend their NLV Gold. Open Source Vapor's Trifecta.

I have to second this. I love all of the Steam Juice flavors that I have tried and I am at about 9 flavors at this point.

I have also ordered from Sir Tasty Vape. I tried the Cubana Joy today. It was very, very good and it is not steeped at all. It is a tobacco, chocolate, and other flavors. I cannot detect each flavor but the combination results in a very satisfying vape. I would call it "full and heavy". I don't know any other way to say it. Not an ADV for me but perfect when I am craving something that really hits a craving or stressful day. Can't wait to try the other flavors. Both Sir Tasty Vape and Steam Juice are ridiculously cheap compared to NT and worth the try, IMO.

Nothing, absolutely nothing will ever replace Wakonda, Virus and ACB for me. I vape most of the NT flavors but these are top of the list right now. I seem to have gotten away from fruity vapes and my Gravity etc. are just sitting and looking most dejected. Oh well. Maybe this summer?
