Maybe I'll give them another try when they have a sale and vape it on a subtank, this was about 9 months ago so maybe they did something or maybe I did infact get a bad batch.
Drew, what mg's are you at? I'll PM you.

Virus and Wakonda are my ADVs (I seldom vape anything else), and I can usually go around a week or so on a coil/wick in my REO before I start getting "off" flavors. I usually just replace the whole coil rather than dry burn/re-wick - I always have coils on hand and it takes me less time to rebuild the RM2 than it does to pull the wick, dry burn the coil to my satisfaction and re-wick it. I don't use Protanks, but I can't see how 2.5 ml would crud your coil up that badly. NETs are harder on coils than some other juices, but I've never ruined a coil that quickly with any juice.
Virus is a doppelganger - it changes flavor daily, sometimes even more often than that. As it steeps/ages, you'll get a lot of different flavors out of it. People have tasted peanuts, chocolate, coffee, maple, cinnamon, toffee, caramel, etc. Most Virus aficionados (myself included) advise to hit it fresh and ride it because the changes are so interesting and enjoyable. If you're really not fond of the taste right now, give it a good shake and set it aside for a week before giving it another try. If that doesn't do it, give it another week and see what it's like. I can just about guarantee you that you'll get a different flavor from it every time. There are some who say that Virus hits its prime after about 6-8 weeks, but I hit it fresh from the mailbox until it's gone and enjoy it the whole way.Got my first order of Nicoticket in today and I have to say I'm a bit underwhelmed with The Virus. I was pretty excited to try this one based on comments here, reviews here and elsewhere and the description of the flavor from the Nicoticket site. Not a fan. All I'm getting is a strong, almost savory peanut. It's especially disappointing after I initially opened the bottle and smelled it. It smelled creamy, maple-y, almost reminiscent of those Mary Jane candies. The vape is nothing like that. On occasion I get a slight hint of that maple goodness but it's mostly peanut. I'm not even picking up any tobacco at all. I wouldn't be as disappointed if this needed steeping like most of their juices but the description on the site says to use this straight away and not steep...
Virus changes A LOT, day by day, week by week.
I think the reason it says no steeping is because most people enjoy experiencing all the changes.
I find it smoother maplier/carmelier over time.
Don't give up on it!
Also, it mixes well with CLS
A lot of people talk about peanuts, but I never really get that.
Nicoticket

Definitely going to give it more of a try, I was just very thrown off by the strong peanut flavor. Probably dumb on my part considering that's one of the flavor notes but as I said it was almost savory and very strong.
The peanut flavor has already mellowed a good bit and it hasn't been all that long since I posted. I'm vaping it right now and more the maple is coming through a lot more which is something I can get behind that for sure. Very nice. Thanks for the posts, you two.
@Darryl Licht - I'll definitely update my thoughts on this as I give the juices time to steep and develop. Look forward to your thoughts as well.
Oh my goodness, never consider yourself dumb. You are just looking for a good vape.I hope Nicoticket delivers that for you.

After trying Nicoticket, specifically The Virus (H1N1), I don't think I'll ever find an equivalent eliquid that is as complex and tasty. Spending $31.99 for a 60ml doesn't absolutely break the bank, but I would like to find something cheaper that also rivals in quality.
I know everyone has had different experiences with the thousands of different brands and individual flavors, so I guess I'm asking for suggestions from people who have had The Virus from Nicoticket that can relate to exactly what I'm faced with. I am not simply just asking everyone to tell me what they like, but only from people who have had The Virus.
If you've had the opportunity to try, (and fall in love with) The Virus, have you found a close 2nd brand that has similar quality and is less expensive?

At $.53 per ml for 60ml is a pretty damn good bargain for a high quality premium juice like Nicoticket
let's compare to a few other premium brands
Five Pawns 30ml $27.50
27.50/30= $.916 per ml
Suicide Bunny, Cosmic Fog, Space Jam 30ml $22.00
22.00/30= $.73 per ml
The Standard 30ml $23.00
23.00/30 = $.766 per ml
Virgin Vapor, Halo, NicQuid 30ml $20.00
20.00/30 = $.666 per ml
To respond to the original OP's question who was seeking something other than Nicoticket, I highly recommend Steam Juice http://www.steamjuice.us/
For tobacco flavors, I second NiteLite Vapor's Bounty Hunter. and also recommend their NLV Gold. Open Source Vapor's Trifecta.

It's certainly priced better then those but still quite a bit rich for my blood considering I have 240ml coming in the mail for $36 from ITC. While I would like to try Nicoticket, it would take a pretty good sale.At $.53 per ml for 60ml is a pretty damn good bargain for a high quality premium juice like Nicoticket

Are there any particular flavors from Steamjuice you would recommend?
(inquiring minds want to know...)
What I know is, I belong to the ITC Facebook group and can talk to the owner Luke on both the group as well as their page. Their ECF thread has also went over 4000 posts with nothing but great reception not to mention that unlike other budget companies, their website reviews are primarily 5 star reviews.I'll never chastise a fellow vapor on a budget.
No matter what decide to go with hopefully it will be better than smoking.
As for me it comes down to this.
With Nicoticket I know what I'm vaping, I know for a fact that Nicoticket uses the purest most high quality U.S. sourced ingredients available.
I know the nicotine in my liquids are in fact 99.7% pure
I know that if I have any, questions, comments or concerns about anything to do with Nicoticket, I can ask the man himself "Clark" Kent Brooks right here on ECF in open forum, he will respond, and will whatever it takes to make sure I'm 100% satisfied.
If you call you are going to get a live person that WANTS to help you.
I say again for the piece of mind knowing for sure I'm getting the highest quality products and customer service possible, $.53 per ml is a h3ll of a bargain.
How many other juice manufacturers can you say that about?
Do you know the name of the owners?
Do you know where they hang out, or how you can talk to them personally?
Can you truly trust them as though they were family?
Do you really know what's in what you are vaping?
I do!
Disclaimer: This is my opinion, and my opinion only. Your mileage may vary. They have several I have not yet tried, so these are based upon the ones I have tried. All Steam Juices I have tried need steep time with exceptions noted below.
Exeptional: Brittany's American Pie (Realistic Apple Pie with a bit of extra cinnamon), Buttery Nipple. Enjoyed both FOOB, gets even better with age
Very good: Blue Velvet, Peaches N' Cream (both need 4-6 weeks steep)
Better than average good: Breakfast of Champions (hint of bakery cinnamon), Golden Road (tobacco), Orion (fruit vape that is not over potent) after 3 weeks steep
Good: Toasted RY4 (slightly bitter until 4 weeks steep)
Others: Cheesecake better than most vendors Cheesecake after 2 months' steep. Tastes much better with a fruit added and same steep time. It is awful FOOB but did come around.

May I ask how long you steeped it for? Because I think I remember you posting before that you were vaping it rather fresh and was selling it because you didn't believe in giving your "Precious" juice a warm bath. I'm asking because juices like Dirty Dutchman aren't even ready for about four weeks. Desserts and Tobaccos take the longest and Dirty Dutchman is both.Willie, really. Nicoticket is premium e-juice. ITC simply is not. I foolishly spent around $50 on an assortment of their juices when I was new to vaping because of that thread. It was horrible. The dirty Dutchman in particular made me physically ill. I refused to even donate their juice because it was so bad. In the garbage it went.
Ahlusion is a good runner up for me. I've tried several and all have been good, but not good as in Nicoticket good. If ACB goes away they have a really good tobacco vape that I would consider doing an ADV for me.

So if you didn't follow the recommended instructions when steeping fresh juices using raw ingredients from scratch, it's going to be exactly how you describe.
The process is a bit time consuming because the ingredients are so raw and fresh which starts with a warm bath, a good shake, a four hour breathe time and then more shakes every few days and a squeeze to replace the oxygen.
So if you didn't do any of this, it's really not good to slander another juice company because you didn't give it a chance, being new to vaping and became loyal to another juice company.
