Hmm, applied to both while sitting close together has found to be the most effective in studies.....

Hmmm... last night I made every effort to stay away from him, so as not to antagonize or BE antagonized further. I love that line from Kahlil Gibran... "Let there be spaces in your togetherness." That works out very well I've found, rather than trying to live in each other's pocket. After nearly 27 yrs of marriage, there are actually more spaces than togetherness, but maybe that's why it's lasted so long. :D

It is weird I just spent a day where it was near impossible to vape and although I did feel strange,it was no where near not getting a smoke in. When I did get to vape it wasn't a chain vape like I would have done with cigarettes. I've been using 12 mg for 45 days and 24 once in a while.

I've read of others here who've said much the same, but I don't find that to be true for me; I seem to have just transferred my addiction from cigarettes to vaping. But then, I'm truly an addict, to a lot of things other than just cigarettes, so that "addictive response" seems to be hardcoded in my DNA or something -- I was going to say it runs in both sides of my family, but actually, it gallops. :D I fear it might be true for me even if I was ever to get down to 0 nicotine -- a behavioral habit of 39 yrs isn't going to just vanish.

As far as I'm aware, the only addictive substances in existence are air, water, and the vitamins and minerals our body requires.
See how you feel if you swear off water for 3 days.

An "addiction" is nothing more than a persons desire to feel a certain way, be it relaxing the nerves with a smoke, a drink, or pharmaceuticals, or even hobbies.

Being a stimulant, its highly unlikely nicotine is the addictive substance in cigarettes, as cigarettes are "depressants".
After a hard day, did you reach for a smoke because it would pick you up, or calm you down?
Most vapers I know have to lower their nic in the evenings so they can sleep.

Point is, there is no such thing as an addictive substance, in and of itself, only the user's enjoyment of its effects.
