If only I knew then...

...what I know now, I would have gone straight to the ProVari instead of spending all my money on the other PVs I now have. From everything I've read, I feel like it would have been the only PV I'd ever need.

However, I see from posts n' pics that many people have either multiple ProVaris, or several (to quite a few other) PVs along with their ProVari, and I have to wonder why? Well, other than the obvious - they got the ProVari AFTER they already had other PVs.

So why have multiples of the same PV? And why would someone need more than their ProVari, being that it covers such a voltage range, and adapters are out there to make other items work with it?

Really curious...

A lot of people are "PV Collectors", also known as "mod Hoes". The primary reason for a second Provari would be as a backup, in case you have an issue with your main one.

Also, pretty much everyone goes through a succession when they start vaping. First, you want something that looks just like a cigarette. Then, you want more battery life, so you give a little and get something like an eGo/Riva, that is still cigarette-esque. Then, for various reasons you advance beyond that to a replaceable battery mod. Variable Voltage is usually the final tier of the ladder.

***Note: Not all vapors experience this progression, but it is statistically significant, at least on the forums.

I have two ProVaris and a GLV3 Mini. Two ProVaris because... well... what if something happened to it? I know they turn them around quickly, but not that quickly. I couldn't be without it.

And the GLV3 Mini because sometimes I want a very different draw. I keep two boxes of 2.0 ohm cartos and occasionally pop one on with a freshly charged battery and vape away. I can get a nicotine buzz in no time flat. But then the battery starts to go flat and the buzz wears off and I go back to my ProVari. I think the longest I've gone straight GLV is a couple of days, right after I got it.

Well, I can understand the 'collecting' thing, expecially after seeing pics of some of the mods people have. And the backup aspect, sure. I suppose if I could I would have two ProVaris, too. One black, one satin.

Unfortunately, circumstances have drastically changed for me and now I find myself unemployed. It'll be a while before I can realize my 'ProVari dream'...sigh...

Yeah, I'm a member of that club. Used to be I could talk about trips to Europe and not have it be a fantasy. Now I talk about trips to the grocery store, and it's at least half fantasy. Welcome to the new economy and making do on 40% of what used to be a household income....

i second that! due to my previous investment in the other PVs, i haven't break even yet! =x but then again, any high performance PV is quite tough to get over here... =/

Believe it or not I've relegated my Provari to the back up position. My main PV is my Provape 1.

I got my Provari first. I really like it but for me it's just too bulky for my every day use. The quality is great so I decided to try the Provape since it is smaller. In the end I fell head over heels in love with the Provape. The size is just perfect for my hand as if it was made to be there. 2 batteries last me all day and night. To me it's just beautiful to look at. I love this thing.

Use it with Boge LR usually paired with a liquinator.

My Provari is always in my "kit" bag with me as my back up and as cartomizer analyzer but for the first time since I started vaping I am completely satisfied.
