PapaBloog,
No worries about the thread I just hope that more chime in as I'm fairly new at this and didn't even know what a VV was until tonight. The topic was open and I'm glad we went off on the new nuclear particle physics solar powered bio-electric thermal wind PV that we will be developing :)

Methic,
No worries. I didn't even notice until you posted that. lol

Awesome conversation guys, thanks.

the Provari, the Darwin are only currently available PV's with regulated power to the atty... they are called "smart" pv's.

They are the state of the art and provide an unbeatable vape... simply because the exact amount of power you want, dialed in for that particular atty is there; each and every time... not subject to the variations of batt as it loses charge.

They can be dialed in to ANY atty ... LR, reg, HV... 306, 510, 801, 901...
They can be dialed in differently for each atty to get a variety of vapes from same.
Just look at the long list of functions.
They have 1 an 2 year warranty built in to the price, and Provari offers extended year for $25.

there are some differences between the two units but they are both worth the price when you compare the cost of production to end price.

there are a couple more "smart" units nearing production as well, and I think this new level of VV pv is the wave of the future; today.

I am not connected to either other than as an end user... i have both.

the Darwin has a couple features that Provari doesn't but a couple of design drawbacks that make me prefer the Provari.

but that may not be fair as i've had Provari over a week now and just got Darwin yesterday.

the Provari has a nice deep well to catch juice... Darwin doesn't and you have to be careful ( i'm a dripper; 'til the Eclipse eq gets here).
- wiping drips from the atty connector to the body and button is a downright drag!

But the Darwin LED window shows all the functional data (watts/volts/atty resistance/ batt charge/amps) and programs the power to each individual atty automatically ! where the Provari info is accessed in LED by clicks of the button as is the voltage adjust.
the Darwin costs more but the battery comes with it and has a 1 yr warranty on batt and 2 yr on electronics. Darwin also has USB port...
yow I'm stoked on the Darwin now... after mentioning this so I cant choose... either one is a winner.

i dont know something about how the provari looks is offputting to me(kinda looks like a vibrator), the darwin is still on my maybe list drew is in jersey i could probably just drive over there and pick it up lol, it just reminds me of one of those twist lighters you use for bbq's, plus I have an infinity on the way that'll be my fifth i guess "old school" vv mod...but theres always open spots in my PV collection

im kind of a provari basher lol....too many things that can malfunction and break.....plus i think provape charges you for a warranty, visit notcigs.com and check out a buzz kit, a screw on volt meter, and an extra set of batteries....or the new infinity just keep in mind there like a week waiting period since hes making them from scratch, but the buzz units ship out almost the same day....provari also has a longer wait time....i look forward to see what you choose, maybe i'll see you at the notcigs forum lol....p.s. theres a coupon code too.

1 year standard is free 2nd year is $25 FYI I have both to each their own I guess

Price as no object, the Darwin hands down, variable wattage is the future, not variable voltage.
And a few gallons of unflavored nicotine juice, one of each flavor from FlavorArt, Lorannes Oils,
and Tasty Vapor Doublers, (OK throw in a bag of menthol crystals, money is no object)
Then about five dozen of every atty, at every resistance with every threaqd made, and adapters
for each possible combination. And the same for cartos....that should keep me a week or two
without re-ordering.
