Got some vape mail today, including 1 each of title RDAs. Even though the pics at DesertVapes.com showed thumb screws, I was totally expecting philips screws (figuring they were using a basic rda stock photo of a similar device just to show coil changing). I was happy to see they are selling both with the thumb screws so no screwdrivers are required when replacing the coil. And at a good price.

Thought it was neat enough to share with anyone else looking for an rda. Yay vapemail!

How do you avoid flooding your bottom air feed A7; umbrella wick?

I haven't gotten that far yet, for now I use a 510 to 510 shorty to keep anything off the battery and I don't seem to have any problems. This is my first buy other than the LR 510 atty's I've been using.

I went with the A7 because I was worried about leaking from side air holes. I'm still new at this, my join date = my start date.

My IGO-F never leaks a drop since I got used to it; took about a day. I can flood deck about 0.5 ml and still not leak. It holds about 1.5 ml but performs like a high end small chamber dripper.

This is a really an ugly build but I was able to drip through drip tip w/o flooding that junky A7 clone. The umbrella does not touch coil. Probably a better way but that's how I built it until it broke.

Are you using that Igo-F as a bottom dripper? I couldn't tell if that was sitting on a box or that was a mod in the 2nd to last pix:). If you are using it as a bottom dripper... how did you do it? I have an Igo-F, and was thinking of turning it into a bottom dripper, but not sure how.

Not using as bottom feeder. The REO crowd knows the best bottom feeders.

I just fill dry tank to 1 ml, install cap, add another 0.5 ml. Vape a few minutes then start the dripping through DT. I've yet to get an IGO-F dry hit but have managed a few dry hits on RDAs; none this year.

I modded my Igo-F for my Reo. It is really easy to do. I don't have a drill press, so I just cut a channel in the center pin with my dremel. The taste was good, but it is kind of a pain to squonk an extra ml to saturate the wick. I just got an Igo-S today, and did the same mod, and like it much better. If you are going to buy one, I would recommend that one. I posted a thread about a week ago below.

I've been wanting an IGO-S. They cost about $17? Do you happen to know if post hole is same size as IGO-W? I just need to fit twisted 30GA.

I use an A7 mini on my Reo mini, I noticed there was a little metal left on the center pin in the connector that would short out at times, so I removed the center pin and sanded the excess metal off and it has worked perfectly ever since.
I also have a regular A7 I use for dripping.
Never had a problem with either leaking since the wicks sit in a cup with the center pin coming up right under the coil.

I have an A7 as well. Overall like it. I used the carto condom trick to isolate the post better, dremeled the channel in the center, and chopped off the chimney on the deck so it would drain back down to the Reo.. I like it, but have been trying to figure out a good way to decrease the air capacity of the cap to increase the taste. The threads make that tough.
