I just joined and can honestly say that if I stick with vaping or not, I will always fight to protect peoples right to. I've ridden motorcycles on and off for 25yrs and have remained an ABATE member the entire time. I know about protecting rights thanks to that. There is nothing worse than your own government trying to take away your rights. Join CASAA today and protect your rights!

DO IT! No one has an excuse not to.

I also challenge every person that reads this to donate what you would have spent on a single day smoking. Not every month, just once. Whatever one day's worth of cigarettes was to you when you quit or decided to reduce, give that to CASAA. What you would have spent on cigarettes today, spend that on supporting an organization that supports you.

I did it just now. You can afford it. You paid that much daily for the slow death, hundreds and probably thousands of times, you can do it once more for a good cause.

I signed up, but seeing as I'm outside the US, I wonder how relevant this will actually be.

This is a fair point. The research which CASAA supports is actually very relevant to all vapers, wherever we may live. As a non-US resident, you can actually choose to donate to the CASAA Research Fund:

Donations to the CASAA Research Fund will be spent 100% in support of research projects.

My only (very slight) criticism of CASAA - as a non-US resident myself - is that although they claim to do a lot of work to promote awareness of tobacco harm reduction internationally, I see little evidence of that here in the UK.

Hi jSquared and thank you so much for your comment! It's true that CASAA doesn't directly fight e-cigarette battles in other countries, but we do provide any support we are able and strive to ensure that our members are aware of international issues.

Our THR promotion is truly without boundaries. Our online collection of resources, writings and research work are used by e-cigarette and THR advocates all over the world. While we have confined our legislative battles to the U.S., we do appreciate that we are a part of a global community and that the issues have international import. Thus, we welcome working cooperatively with other organizations as opportunities present themselves (such as World Vaping Day).
