If you lost your vaping ability would you go back to smokes?

Although I would like to be able to say that I would not, I think that the reality of the situation would be more likely to end in me eventually giving in to the old habit. And I don't think it's as much about the nicotine, as it is the "activity" of smoking; inhaling, blowing smoke, using my hands and fingers, etc.

But it is very unlikely that I would lose the ability to vape in total. At the most, I would think we might lose the freedom to buy pg or vg with nicotine in it. With that in mind, I am pretty certain that I could vape a 0 mg nicotine juice as I now do that quite frequently already.

Since I still use high nic, and the social/psychological aspects are ingrained, I'd be toast if my juice disappeared right now. I can go for periods of time without vaping more comfortably than without smoking, but things like when I first wake up would likely get me heading down for smokes.

I do hope to decrease my nic, though I'm not even contemplating going to 0 at this time. Until I cut it down a good chunk I'm reliant on vaping.

The cravings are different now. I sometimes question if I even have cravings anymore...or is is just habit now? Today marks exactly five months for me being smoke-free. I really don't crave it like I used to. The hand-to-mouth habit seems to be more the issue now for me. I don't feel the physical need like I did before. I can go hours without thinking about my nicotine "fix" so I think I've passed that point where it's got me by the b...s! And I'm liking it!!!

Nope, I'm done with smokes for good. I realized this when I was e-cig-less for a few days while camping, due to battery run down. There were plenty of smokes around but I didn't indulge, just can't stand the taste anymore. I wasn't happy to be without my vape, but it was just a minor annoyance compared to the way I would be when I ran out of cigarettes!

We're on the same page on this!

Folks - don't sell yourselves short! That 1000 pound gorilla can be off your back if you just give it time. But of course that's only if it's your ultimate goal.

Edit: Not preaching...just stating my own experience :)

Not a chance. I could hardly bring myself to spend the $8-9 on a pack every now and then when I did smoke plus I don't even feel like having a real cigarette. I figure if I did I'd end up feeling sick like when I tried my first cigarette. I always thought to myself "You're going to break down one day and buy cigarettes again even though you don't and know you shouldn't smoke". When I started vaping (several days ago) I lost all interest in smoking analogues.
