AndriaD,love your comment and your attitude,My wife sees I get disappointed with juice and suggested I find one I like and stick with it like I did Marlboro, easier said then done.
I have thought of DIY,but first I have to find the one. Then there is the learning curve and the measuring tools I am a retired coal miner and no nothing of measuring percentages for liquids.
I have found Nicotine juice 50/50 pretty cheap and was going to give it a whirl, but what I have spent
so far I'm afraid it would be another costly learning trip.
I will admit this,if I knew your recipe was the one,I would order everything I need this very moment,
believe me,I really don't want to smoke again.
Thanks again for the uplifting post.
You are a little like me mate. No matter what I tried in e liquids nothing every satisfied me. The wife just kept rolling her eyes everyone a new order of samples arrived. I finally settled on unflavored with a bit of menthol, em or sulcrose. I too was worried about the complexities of diy after reading the forums. I just bought some flavorings and started. I do it the easy way. Drop method in 15 ml bottle. 5 ml is 100 drops. 10 drop in 5 ml is the 10 percent so easy to adjust the drops of different flavorings. 30 drops with get me the flavor percentage. A few drops of this and a few drops of that. Shake..let it sit a few days. Never the same bottle and I am a happy vaper.

No I would not quit vaping nor would I go back to smoking. I know for myself, that vaping is better for me. I have asthma and many other allergies.
So from my own experience I would continue to vap. I make my own e-juice. I do make a sweet coffee flavor, but am not concerned about it..Just have to make coils faster..lol

I have decided to give it a try,I'm going to go with 50/50 nicotine mix and a few flavors, bottle size in flavors is something to give thought to,believe me my wife rolls eyes and shakes head since I got into this, she says I need a room of my own for empty bottles, building supply's and the like.it amazed me how much I got into it, not even noticing it without being told .DIY will probably convince her to move me to the basement.

I would not quit vaping. I did not start vaping for my health anyway, but to save money.
I enjoy vaping far more than I did smoking. I would enjoy life more till I died with vaping.

You would have an even longer life if you would refrain from enjoying it.

After four months of vaping,I am now considering going back to smoking.I have two mods and 3 tanks BVC and BDC and one Kayfun,I have tried juice after juice at least 200 dollars worth, listened to many you tube reviews about great taste,"great taste",there lies the problem, nothing taste good at all,a total disappointment to me,I also build my own coils,I've tried everthing, still it's like sucking chemicals.
Did you try DIY or no artificial ingredient flavorings? Virtually all the bought juice I tried had a bad aftertaste and perfumy taste to me. Maybe it is artificial ingredients? There are some no artificial ingredient juices out there. Virgin Vapor?

The patch and gum until I can live without it. And Dip tobacco! which i still do sometimes. :) I do not get the warm nic buzz from vaping in the morning from vaping. Just a headache and dry mouth. I think vaping is a bit over buzzed! People are spending their kids college tuition on vape products. Like Vaporfi why would vaporfi charge 189 dollars for a cheap 50 watt device when they make the same ones for 30 dollars on gearbest and fast tech. We need to get them out the loop, They represent selfish con artist to me. They almost got me when I first quite. LMFAO (Who cares though) Like some of these such guys on youtube buying every mod and bragging about it. It quyte entertaining though. Its been comic since I quite smoking gotta love it. Vaping with twisted 420? WHAT THE ....! WHo the other such guy? Oh yeah Suckmymod. With the sentimental intro of him and his girlfriend. LMFAO! There is one more. hold on I have to google it. RIP TRIPPERS! Holy ..... The man thinks it takes rocket science to make a coil. And he thinks one day there will be Vaping in the olympics. HAHAHAHAHA!

Sorry I had to vent a little.

I would just quit vaping

I'm pretty sure that the odds of vaping being found to be worse than smoking tobacco cigarettes carries greater odds than me hitting a 285 million dollar powerball jackpot, but if the extremely hypothetical question and fantasy scenario presented in the OP were ever to become a reality, then yes, I would obviously quit, and I wouldn't go back to analogs either, I'm completely done with those, no matter what were to happen with vaping in the future.

I have nothing further to add to Ignorant's post. It's perfect and sums up my feelings as well.

I smoked for thirty years knowing the risks, and watching a dear family member die of cancer. I spent the last decade trying to quit smoking, I don't see me going back after almost two years without a cigarette.

As to vaping, I'm down to 6 mg now, I don't think it will be hard to give that up.

My wife's computer is 10 ft from mine and she smokes,I will admit ,I do like the smell at times but it hasn't given me the urge to light one up,she wants to see if I stick to vaping before she quits, that alone is enough to keep me on track,I just want flavor and i"m getting impatient trying to get it.

if you're in close proximity to cigarette smoke pretty often, that in itself could be slowing the recuperation of your taste and olfactory senses. My husband doesn't smoke, but I always smoked in the truck; he never really had much of a sense of smell; since I've quit, now *he tells me* when I need to re-wick my atomizer; when it gets gunky, it smells really bad to him. This from a man who used to find nothing objectionable about the smell of fresh road tar.

This is important because a very large percentage -- more than 50%, maybe as much as 80% -- of the sense of taste... is the sense of smell. There are tastebuds not just in your tongue, but all over your whole mouth, and they're quite packed into the roof of your mouth. My ex always hated the smell of cigarette smoke because he said he could *taste* it.

Since I've quit smoking, I've smelt better, looked better, and most importantly, felt better. Staring at a computer screen for hours on end is probably worse than vaping ever will be. I have zero interest in ever going back to cigarettes. I vape mostly for the flavor nowadays and smoking was everything but flavorful.

So no, I wouldn't. Smoking sucks.

I'd have to find something to do with my hands. I'm nearing the 0 mg level as we speak, and am on a solid 3mg...so that I don't think would be an issue. All I've got now is the motor action thing going on, you know...hand to mouth, inhale, exhale thingy. Like Brokepainter said...hope nothing stressful happens...
