So, I changed the attie on my new ggts, and read somewhere that you should pull the pin inside the top cap out slightly, screw on the attie, and the pin will re seat itself when top is screwed back on.
Well, I went a bit beyond slightly, and pulled the pin out completely.
I tried pushing it back in, but something was causing it to hang up and not slide back. Looking into the attie end I saw something inside, and fished out the smallest o ring I've ever seen. Tried again, and the pin slid in with little resistance. I put the o ring over the pin, and pushed it down the pin and everything seems to be working fine.
This has taught this ole fool a valuable lesson, don't mess with something you don't understand.
