1. How many packs a day did you smoke - Around 1/4 of a pack
2. How long did the switch take - Instantly
3. Number of analogs and vapng each day during the switch. - Zero
4. How much did you vape every day after the switch. - Is a "crap ton" an acceptable answer? If so, a "crap ton"!!!
5. What mg nicotine did you use to switch - 6mg Because of how little I was smoking prior to vaping, I didn't want to overdo it. I'll be switching to 0mg very soon.

I realize I'm not a typical case and most people would say, "Why don't you just quit totally?" The fact is, I always enjoyed the "feeling" of smoking. That is what I'm addicted to, not the chemicals anymore. :D

1. How many packs a day did you smoke? 1 to 1.5 PPD for 30 years
2. How long did the switch take? Instantly. I quit the day I got my Riva and hadn't been planning to quit.
3. Number of analogs and vapng each day during the switch. Zero, zip, nada
4. How much did you vape every day after the switch? 3-5mls per day.
5. What mg nicotine did you use to switch? I started at 18mg but still had cravings, so I bumped it to 24mg and went back and forth between the two for about a month. Now I vape 18mg exclusively without any problems.

This is only day 2 for me so it's still early. I smoked a pack a day for the past 30 years. On day 1 I dropped down to 15, but hardly used my e-cig. Today I smoked 8 and have been vaping on and off most of the day. Hoping to make the change gradually in hope that I never touch a cigarette again..

I didn't really like the e cig at first, but now it doesn't seem so bad...

1. How many packs a day did you smoke - 1.5-2 packs a day (lights)
2. How long did the switch take - within 1 cigarette - I had one cigarette while learning to use and fill my equipment.
3. Number of analogs and vapng each day during the switch. - no analogs
4. How much did you vape every day after the switch. - about the same as I smoked, i.e. 1.5-2 packs worth of drags but distributed differently (i.e. sometimes more often than I smoked but just for a couple of drags each time). And I use maybe 1.5-2ml per day.
5. What mg nicotine did you use to switch - 16-18mg (and yesterday after 2 months on 16-18mg I reduced my nicotine to 12mg)

One exception - due to not understanding a particular weirdness of my PCC I ran out of charged batteries twice during the first few weeks of vaping. Each of those times I had one analog while I waited for a battery to charge enough on AC to be vapable (partial charge while I charged the other). After that I bought more batteries, more chargers (for work and home), and emergency PTs for home and work, and learned the tricks of my PCC - I have never been without a charged battery since.

BTW - one thing to keep in mind - if a person starts with a PV that provides big drags, then their drags may provide more nicotine than the drags of someone who starts with a smaller or weaker PV. You can make a decent guess of your starting nicotine level but it's a good idea to bracket that and also get a some that's higher and a some that's lower. If you don't need it, you could always mix them together to make something close to the middle level you chose.

Hoping to make the change gradually in hope that I never touch a cigarette again..

Take it at your own pace and switch over when you want to, but the real rewards come when you're off analogs completely. Your sense of taste and smell will come back, you'll find flavors in foods that you never knew were there. I spent the first week walking around work (I've worked here for eight years - all of them as a smoker until now) sniffing the air. I had no idea this is what my office smelled like. Or the cafeteria. Or my coworker when he gets back from the deli.

Not all the smells are good smells, true. I spent several days de-stinking my car because I couldn't stand to get in it. But now when I get in it, it smells like car freshener instead of old cigarette butts and stray ashes. And when I dust the dash it stays clean, because I drive with the windows up, all the time. And when it rains I don't have to block the window switches with my arm (soaking myself in the process) to keep the rain from dripping on them.

1. How many packs a day did you smoke
- One pack a day, pretty much exactly. For 30+ years.

2. How long did the switch take
- 3 weeks

3. Number of analogs and vapng each day during the switch.
- Week 1: 4 analogs a day - wake up, lunch, afternoon commute, before bed
- Week 2: 2 analogs a day - wake up, before bed
- Week 3: 2 analogs a day - wake up, before bed
- Week 4: all vaping

4. How much did you vape every day after the switch.
- I don't know... I started out vaping like I smoked; taking e-cig breaks at work like I did with analogs, etc. So, yeah, however much that would be.

5. What mg nicotine did you use to switch
- Started out with a supply of 24mg juice, but switched to 18mg when that ran out.

I've been smoking for about four years any where from a pack a day (sometimes more sometimes a little less depending on how stressful the day was). Yesterday I bought the Joye 510 from cignot.com, and 3 5mg bottles with different flavors of e liquid. I followed the advice of the veterns on the site and got a couple different nicotine levels to test out and figure out which works best for me. Not long after I first started smoking analogs I realized I was already smoking half a pack a day and couldn't believe that without even realizing it I was already addicted to them. Since them the thought of quitting has always seemed impossible, until yesterday when I bought my vape. For the first time in the past 4 years I feel confident that I can quit analogs! I can not wait to get my starter kit and start my journey to a cig free life!

If you switched from analogs to vaping...

1. How many packs a day did you smoke
2. How long did the switch take
3. Number of analogs and vapng each day during the switch.
4. How much did you vape every day after the switch.
5. What mg nicotine did you use to switch

I know it's different for everyone. But I just wanted to know YOUR experience. Thanks! (Yes, my kits on the way, LOL Mostly 25mg. ).

1 About a half a pack or more depending on the stress of the day. :)

2. Instant. The day it came and charged I stopped.

3. None.

4. I vape everyday as much as I like.

5. I started with 12 nic down to six and mainly 0. I didn't want to stay hooked on nic. I like the act of smoking so I just puff my 0 nic any time I want. I mainly do 12 or 11 when I first wake up or something.

Good luck on quitting. I can't speak for anyone else but this is the ONLY thing that worked for me! Its been almost 5 weeks straight!
