I have a 5ml of Creme de Menthe @20% made, read a stand alone that recommended that %. It's nice. It lacks the creaminess I'm looking for, plus would like only a touch of sweetness to it.

I have several creams. Sweet, Bavarian, Fresh, Vienna. I also have Vanilla Swirl. Would any of these work for what I'm looking for? I also have sucralose drops.

I know taste is subjective, but I'm open to opinions. Thanks for any thoughts on this.

I made a TFA Triple Mint recipe in this thread:

I'm not really a big mint person, but this one is pretty good. I've never used Creme de Mint as a standalone but 20% seems a little high. Just wondering if you brought it down to say around 12% if it might be creamier? I really like Vanilla Swirl and now I'm curious what that combination would taste like. Good luck and let us know the verdict. :toast:

Cheers,
Steve

that combo just fixed my dilemma just now. wanted to try the FA espresso I just got in. didnt know where to start so I did 2% espresso 2% fresh cream and 2% vanilla custard. we shall see where this ends up going. maybe a splash of creme de menthe lol

By all means, add 20% !

You know I'm kidding, right :?:

I find the LA version to be better than TFA as it has more creaminess on it's own. The only downside is the LA has a slight green tint from food coloring. If you don't mind coloring then I would give it a shot. Every flavor company seems to have certain flavors they seem to do better than others. TFA has the best Peach and Strawberry next to Capella but LA has the best Honey and Cheesecake I have tasted. If you are serious about DIY it's a good idea to branch out beyond just using one flavor maker.

I appreciate that Crunk. After all the reading I've done on here over the last couple weeks, I've acquired Lorann's, TFA, Capella, Flavour Art.... umm. Oh, Hangsen, Flavor West and Inawera. Now, to find the right groove with each.

Creme de Menthe with FA Custard was really nice! It had exactly the touch of sweet I was going for at .05%. I also tried a batch with FA Fresh Cream. This was the creamy feel I was looking for! I mixed that at .05% also. The teeniest amount made the biggest difference.

I don't have a favorite of the 2. They were both so nice.
