Alright guys I got some questions.. for maximum vapor production WITHOUT being harsh do I want a low ohm or high ohm coil build the coils I have made range from .9-1.5 ALL of them have been rough vaping with low vapor production but puffing generates moderate vapor. coils are NOT touching posts. I wrap 28g kenthal A1 around 5/32 drill bit and scrunch together finished coil looks nice 10-13 wraps. Firing coils on itaste MVP2 @ 8-11w. I would like to make this a smooth flavorful vape any help would be appreciated.... by the way using cotton wick as I connot thread silica threw the coil.

Did you drill out your air hole? In my experience, small air holes gave me a harsh vapor. More air flow, better vapor. I suggest starting with a small size and working your way up until you find a size that gives you the vape you are looking for. Don't go big right off the bat.

The cap on the igo-l i purchased already had a hole drilled in it from the factory..

Take special care making sure your cap's airhole is properly aligned with the middle of the coil both vertically and horizontally.

Really don't think its advisable to run much below 1.2-1.3ohm on the MVP (if it will even fire below that), i'm currently running a relatively standard build single 1.2ohm coil w/cotton @ ~3.6v on the mvp (~10.8w) and get great results, though im pretty sure im nearing the amp limitation of the MVPs circuitry.

Play with builds a bit and pay close attention to airhole alignment/position and you should eventually have very positive results.:vapor:

How is your flavor? Keep in mind vapor production is second on my list I ventured into this project for better flavor from my better juices. I see alot of guys doing thid for show..personally I cannot take a hit like you see on YouTube...I would probably pass out!!! But I want vapor production above that of a carto, clearomizer...

The flavor is amazing, pretty much unmatched.

Although i do feel that a coil built with double or triple strand, drill twisted, Kanthal ups the flavor, but i don't love the slower response time those coils seem to have.

I couldn't care less about putting on a show and am certainly not a cloud chaser, just a regular vaper.

Im also vaping Boba's about 90% of the time so amount of vapor is rarely an issue, getting that Boba's flavor is goal #1. I generally change my cotton every day or so just for that reason.

Also is it advisable to do a dual coil on this setup?

Your cap likely only has 1 airhole from the factory, so start with 1 coil and get that working to your liking, then you can worry about drilling a second hole to give proper dual coil performance.

The best vape I have found on an Igo-L is a 1/16" micro coil 28g 9/10 wrap about 1.5Ω... The secret to the coil is to heat it up and pinch the coils together with a pair of tweezers or needle nose pliers. It is commonly referred to as the super_X_drifter micro coil. There is a big thread in the rebuildable section of the forum. I've been using micro's on all my RBA/RDA's for months now...
