Okay...first off, LOL at how small this thing is! It looks redonkulous on my eVic, lol.

Now for the real reason to my post...this is my first rda. I've read you can use SS wicks on these, so I need to be explained to on how to do this. I have no silica or cotton to wrap a coil onto, so it'll have to be a used SS or some new stuff. I have used 500 mesh and new 400 and 500.

How would I go about setting up this tiny thing? I should do more research before posting but I just worked a 14 hour day and I just got home to this silly thing, and I would love some of the quick response help usually found here in this forum!

i setup my A7s with SS with great success. i saw a short video clip on youtube, with a guy who had his IGO-L setup with ss mesh, basically rolled a long wick, coiled it in and then bent it around the inside rim of the bottom cup. Looked kinda like a question mark from the top down. Otherwise you could try runing it tilted at a 45 degree angle. I haven't set my IGO up with SS mesh yet.

If you "don't have" cotton, I'd recommend heading to the grocery store and picking some up. It rocks, it's cheap, it's super easy to use, and there's no break-in, oxidizing etc.

You can just use regular-... cotton?

I've always been an SS guy, so I have no idea about silica or cotton btw.

Yes, any old cotton (100% cotton, non treated) is fine. I use regular cheesecloth, and it works absolutely great! And it's by far the cheapest wick out there too.

EDIT: wrap the coil loosely, as cotton expands quite a bit when wet. Also, no dry burns. Do some searches for more info!

Thanks so far guys! I wrapped a quick SS setup on it while waiting for responses, and WOW this little thing kicks like a mule...these RDAs are pretty nuts.

More play tomorrow though, today has kicked my .... hard, im falling asleep in my computer chair...NIGHT EVERYONE!


oh yeah...edit - The top part above the electronic head on the eVic, and the rda are getting very hot while vaping/testing...this normal for a device so small?

It's normal for a stainless steel RBA of any kind.

yup cheesecloth ......just takes some time to get it fully soaked.
