Igo-W airhole advice

I have been owning the Igo-L for about a week, and as is known, the airflow on this item is tight. It has been advised to drill the hole out, but I have read different sizes.
So, what is the optimum airhole size?
Also, is there a special type of drill bit that is needed?

I have my patriot drilled out too 5/64 and much better then a 1/16 at 0.5 dual coil if that helps.

You may use any bit, providing it's the right size.
Their are too many variables to recommend a specific size.
Just 'stair step' up in diameter to achieve your preference..

Yoooo brada. I have mine drilled at 3mm. I would drill one hole 3mm and see how you like. But advice was given at a extremely reputable outlet to drill at 3mm.

hole size increases depends on how "breathable" you want it to be... I have my Igo-W drilled at .075" in 2 spots. Very airy, makes for quick inhales with good air volume.

I have my igo-w drilled at 1/16 both sides. I built a 3.0 ohm diamond coil for it had to plug one side up lol loving it though.

The question isn't "What's the best size ?" more like "What's the best size FOR YOU !"

As someone already said, "work your way up". You can always go bigger, but you can't go smaller.

I used vice grips if u don't have those regular pliers work if you wrap electric tape tight around handles... just remember start slow and apply steady downward pressure them small bits break easily

Mine are 1/16 and it helps cool the Vapor down makes it easer to inhale.

There isn't really an "optimal size". It all comes down to preferences. My optimal size airholes could be great for me, but you could hate it.

I recommend drilling a slightly bigger hole, testing it, and drilling a size up again if you want more air. Shouldn't have to state it, but you can always make the hole bigger, you can't make it smaller.

Chuck the bit as deep as it will go to reduce wandering and cover the hole with masking tape to prevent scratches.

do you have 2 rods of the same size and tape?? tape the 2 rods together, place cap between rods in the "valley" tap cap to rods and drill a starter hole then drill again to a size you prefer as for draw resistance.
