.Careful w the crown 2 ..coils burn up fast,alot faster than the C1..I've got all the crowns.except the 3..
Also got the rta sections of crown..tricky.
My EDC tank is the Freemax Scylla, ni200..great flavor,slightly tighter draw, coils last 3wks,EASY..easy twist top fill. .but scylla not a chucker unless u use the ceramic coil..100+watts..got the Sanyo 20700b15a batteries already..

That's why I bought the Rafale RBA in the same purchase as the Crown 2. Yeah, it's tricky! And you can't change the cotton without a total rebuild.
I have 2 GOU Altus T1 (one given as a gift from a vendor) and a Horizon Krixus that both use a ceramic covered tungsten heating element. It's best used in Temp mode on a YiHi chip. I have an IPV 6X and an SX Mini Q Mini for that. I'd have to use Power mode on the Captain for that, or set the TCR to about 0.0031, IIRC.

Got the original Sigelei 213,still in box,fuchai , cuboid 150 &200 alien,predator, Tap and a few more I can't remember in the drawer..I used to build alot..20 variety of tanks,changing cotton,leaks at work kept me w screw in coils..I even got the daedalus coil builder for exotics..I'm tired,

That's the way I do it, but usually with 60W to 80W, depending on the juice. Using higher wattage with temp control allows the coil to get to the set temperature faster, then TC kicks in for you. But it can be juice dependent.
I've had issues with the Altus T1. I bought the VCC cotton to try in it, but haven't yet. I'll let you know how it works out. I had some leaking, but the major issue was burning the cotton. May have been the cinnamon, but it's been on a back burner for a while now. Having been given a second one resparked my interest in it, but I've been busy with other things.
Anthony said that it doesn't work on the Captain. Maybe that was why.

Mine didn't work with the captain. Had a buddy who couldn't get his to work either. Have another buddy who has one it works with. The qc on the captain 510 pin is crap

I have just been informed by Urvapin that what I have is a Sample! Therefore, since I only received mine a few days ago, it is highly likely that whatever version of an iJoy Captain PD270 Box Mod that anyone else has is also a Sample, especially if you won it in a Contest, or it was given to you for Review. I asked about the likelihood of purchases being a Sample, but I have not received a reply yet. However, no matter how you may have obtained one, it seems clear to me that the only versions available to date are Sample models. Many if not Most are V1.2 (like mine is), but at least one has been stated as V1.1.
He said (and I quote):
iJoy will fix those bugs. You know, the sample always has kinds of problem, just like the Apline. But the end products will improved.
This explains a lot! So people like me, Anthony, and especially DJLsb Vapes will be keeping up to date on the progress of things, with a very watchful eye on the upcoming Firmware Update. As stated before, DJLsb Vapes is in direct contact with iJoy and is working with them on that Firmware Update. He contacted iJoy because the Mod he was sent failed his tests.
More to come as progress is made. DJLsb Vapes will be testing the Update before it is released.

I don't know if he reviewed it. But he was working with smok on fixing the alien temp control a year ago and never happened so yeah

It's not a debate or argument. You just seem pretty hell bent on pushing this mod which clearly isn't shown to be good yet and I'm not sure why. I mean it's a forum for discussion were both being civil I don't see the need to go to Pm but if u want we can.
