I have been getting an accumulation of juice in the tiny gap between the AFC and JFC ring. My tank will also turn extremely easily with very little friction.
This morning I removed the deck, placed the bottom of the base on a thick spacer protecting the 510 connection and put the threaded adapter from the GEM RTA in the top part.
Put it all in the bench vise and applied a bit of pressure to tighten up the JFC by pressing in the base section a little further. Now I have some friction on my tank when it turns and it could use a little more. Better too press the base together a little at a time than too much all at once.
Mine was probably made by someone a little too feeble on the Arbor Press that day.
Still dry so far too.
