No it's a rba head (after you build on it) you screw onto the base instead of a manufactured coil head. rda's are drippers. I feel a dedicated rta is better than an rba head, those tanks are meant for coil heads but give you the option to build on the rba.

I see. I think I'm going to get the RTA 2ml/6ml. Looks like FastTech or Ijoy's site has them in stock. Curses! The last two times I ordered from FastTech the shipping was delayed so I cancelled them and bought them from other places. I'm very impatient when it comes to waiting for vape stuff.

I have been getting an accumulation of juice in the tiny gap between the AFC and JFC ring. My tank will also turn extremely easily with very little friction.

This morning I removed the deck, placed the bottom of the base on a thick spacer protecting the 510 connection and put the threaded adapter from the GEM RTA in the top part.

Put it all in the bench vise and applied a bit of pressure to tighten up the JFC by pressing in the base section a little further. Now I have some friction on my tank when it turns and it could use a little more. Better too press the base together a little at a time than too much all at once.

Mine was probably made by someone a little too feeble on the Arbor Press that day.
Still dry so far too.

Hmm...you know I always thought an RBA was the same thing as an RDA but I don't know. I've no interest in dripping.
    what @Heartsdelight said
RBA decks turn your "premade coil" tanks into RTAs SO you have the option of buying a premade coil or using the RBA deck to build your own like an RTA

Thanks! I don't know why I didn't check with them. I ordered my last two tanks from them.

I wouldn't go for the black EXO RTA, just got mine and it jumps resistance all over the place settling around 2.3 something , I read about this , don't remember a fix, if there is?

I read about that problem earlier in this thread. I like the looks of the stainless steel tank more.

You may want to give 3FVape a try. They have always gotten things to the hinterlands of Western Massachusetts in 7-10 days.
Good customer service as well the couple of times I had to use them. Wasn't from poor packing, it was defective from the maker, warped/bent 510 post. They took care of it the same day.

I can't decide between the single coil deck and the dual. Every time I think I've decided, I change my mind.
It's amazing to me that a single coil can nearly keep with the dual.
Maybe I'll just store the single coil deck and get it out for travel purposes.

I saw that site but I never heard of them before so I didn't want to order from them. Maybe next time. I think I saw on there that they ship within 1 business day. If that's the case then they already have FastTech beat.

3F is a good site, got a bunch of stuff from them. The 24hrs shipping usually takes 3 days by the time it actually gets mailed.
