I put them all the way in, it covers the opening. @TrollDragon doesnt I remember he posts some pics.

Hmm...I didn't put them all the way down there. This is how I wicked it last time when I experienced flooding and leaking. So far, everything's dry down there...the airflow I mean. I wonder if taking everything apart and putting it back together has helped. Only time will tell!

I think the trick with the way @TrollDragon way works is because if I remember correctly his coil i.d. is pretty large 3.5mm? If the opening of the wick channel is fully covered then the wick ends don't have to reach the bottom. I'm going to backtrack & see if I can find his pics.

Could the leaks be because the base is not press fit tightly resulting an air leak?

I don't know. So far no leaks or flooding. There's not even any leaking between the tank and the airflow like there used to be. I'm about to refill it now to see what happens.

Edit: Minor leaking and flooding after refilling :(

I occasionally get a minor leaking after filling if I leave the cap off too long, I never get any flooding.

Try the trick we use with the Aromamizer Plus to lessen leaking or flooding. Close off the JFC about a half dozen vapes before you are going to fill it. Then when you do fill it, the wicks are dry and they will soak up any excess rather quickly. If you fill it with saturated wicks, the vacuum is lost when you take the top off and the excess juice has no place to go but out the air hole in the deck. The tolerances between the base and the chimney are quite loose. When there is no vacuum involved, the juice can still seep in around the closed holes.

Thanks I'll try that next time.

If you're leaking from the AFC there is a good chance that it is also leaking from the 510 pin, might want to take a look at it before it leaks into your mod and causes damage.

When I first got the tank I was having some leaks too but that was because my wicking was too thin.

Currently running a 3mm clapton and I use an approx 10mm wide cotton sheet. Fold the cotton down to the bottom of the juice channel and cut it there. Fluff up the ends with tweezers or your scissors, gently fold it in to the channel. The cotton should be long and fluffy enough to cover the whole juice channel.

I haven't had any leaking issues after that, but I still occasionally take off the tank and check the 510 to make sure it's dry.

    Somewhere between here and there
I don't really get leaking but I just refilled and even though I close off the jfc and the afc, I get four or five big bubbles when I remove the top. They are coming from the jfc holes even though they are closed. This time I could tell it kinda flooded a little bit. I think the precision just isn't there between the chimney and the jfc.

If it keeps flooding, I'll look into using that method again. I was putting the wick tails all the way into the juice wells but that resulted in immediate moderate flooding and leaking.

I think with the wicking for these types of RTA is the thickness and fluffiness of the wick and not so much the length.

I used the same method as I mentioned and cut the wick just a tad shorter so it was only half visible in the juice channel. No floods or leaks but I found when my juice ran low in the tank the wick wasn't long enough to get it. Not sure if that makes sense.

I use Japanese cotton pads, not sure if it's Shiseido or muji, but I also peel the top and bottom layers off before wicking. I find it makes a big difference in fluffiness.

Also I use Iteo wicking or more commonly know as Scottish roll. I find this helps with the fluffiness also.

Actually I get that all the time too. Now I just vape it until the tank is totally dry. Fill it and vape. I don't even bother with the JFC anymore.

The first few vapes I get a lot of popping because of the saturated cotton and excess juice on the coil. Usually after about 3 vapes it's back to normal again.

Do you leave the JFC closed the whole time?

Update: As TrollDragon suggested, I closed the JFC and vaped it for a bit before refilling. After refilling, I vaped it a little more then opened up the JFC a little bit. So far no flooding or leaking.

My wick tails aren't very fluffy or thick. I'll try to thicken them next time I wick.

Hopefully that solves the problems, an easy fix.

I've noticed large air bubbles when I take the top off even with jfc and air closed off.
    There you have it.

I took mine (black one) back to the Vapor DNA store (where I bought it) and told the guy that I constantly get "no atomizer" message (not really). It leaks all the time and it is impossible to adjust the afc. He played around with it for a little while and then he offered me a new silver for replacement.
Should I open it and give it another chance or just sell it on ebay and move on?

Vape with it.....lol....the silver has no issues with conductivity. Leaking issues are wick fixes. [emoji38]
