vape with it.....lol....the silver has no issues with conductivity. Leaking issues are wick fixes. [emoji38]

I really didn't have much conductivity issues with it (just told the guy I did). I love this rta. It just needs too much baby sitting for it not to leak.

Same here. Despite the problems I've been having, I really like everything about this tank. Juice capacity, consumption, flavor, and vape feel are all really good for me. Hopefully, I have it set up good this time. So far no leaking or flooding.

    Somewhere between here and there
I had my mod laying on its side on a towel at work and my exo dumped about half a tank out through the air hole. I took it apart to rewick and unscrewed the deck. There was a lot of liquid down inside the base. I wonder if I didn't put in enough wick last time.

That sucks. Mine hasn't leaked today but I have it attached to my mod standing up in a side pocket of my backpack. I know in another thread (or this one) you said leaving the tank standing up is not an option for you at work.

That's right. I keep my gear in a drawer at work. Even if I stand them up, they fall over when I open or close the drawer. Maybe I'm wrong but I think I should be able to lay down a tank without it dumping. I had no problems with the ammit or goblin mini putting them on their sides. The Merlin was ok to except it seeped out the bottom of the base. It's really unlike me to try all these different tanks. I used crown tanks with rba's for a long time. Just over the last several months I've been trying different tanks. So far, out of the new ones I've tried, the regular engine dual coil has been bulletproof as far as leaking. The Crius is another one that never leaks. Maybe I should just get more of those. The dual deck in the exo was a leaking mess. I've had less leaking with the single deck. It just doesn't make a lot of sense why it dumped today. I hadn't had the top off in the past day.

If space is an issue for device storage. Why not just remove the tank from the mod and have the tank stand up while the mod lays down?

You can easily get a large nut, washer or even a proper atty holder to keep it from falling over or rolling around.

Second successful post-initial fill up. I may have to name my first-born child after TrollDragon.
You've convinced me to keep my replacement exo and not sell it on ebay. I wouldn't recommend naming your first born "TrollDragon".

I hope it works out for you. I'm still not 100% confident about using this tank but so far, TrollDragon's advice about closing the juice flow, vaping for a bit, then filling up is the only thing that's worked for me. Before that I took everything apart and put it back together. It might be possible that something wasn't completely tightened before.

So how is it going? I'm afraid to ask.

I was a little lazy last night and I didn't vape the tank with the JFC closed in preparation for the next fill up. When I filled it this morning it flooded. Nothing crazy and it's still vapable. Seems like vaping it with the JFC closed then filling it is the method that works for me.

Did you have both jfc & afc closed when you filled?
