They make a .5 ohm coil for the tank. The iStick should be able to fire it. However, the web site I looked at said the .5 ohm coil was rated for use from 30 to 100 watts. So if the iStick does work with that tank it will probably be a cooler vape. I am not familiar with the ijust kits, but my experience with a .5 ohm coils is vaped around 25 watts (Kanger Subtank Mini).

If you use the .5 ohm coil in the ijust it might be a cooler vape. Other than that I'd recommend getting a Kanger Subtank Mini to use on the iStick 30 w.

Thanks, i will try that. Im kinda paranoid about the subohm vaping because of all the danger warnings i read, thought a kit would be safe. Theres alot of charts out there for ohm/volts/watts safe zone, but none seem to include subohm. So a 0.5 at around 25 watts is safe and hopefully satisfying vape, is that right to assume? I understand satisfying is very subjective...

The kit you purchased is similar to a mech mod. Mech mods are for the most experienced vaper so I doubt I'll ever get there. I prefer something where I can control the power, like the regulated iStick.

If you put the .5 ohm coil in the tank I would start around 18 to 20 watts on the iStick. Take a hit, and bump it up if necessary. If it gets too warm, tastes funny or starts to taste burnt then back it down.

Hello and welcome to the forum @Jules_G. Glad to have you here!:)

You could try using a non-metal drip tip or switching to the higher Ω coil. Your kit does work like a mechanical BUT it has many safety features built in (which a mechanical mod does not have). Here are the Specifications
