I want to get into IKV attys... tried their HV 306, but my Prodigy just fries the juice... I have 2 AW LifePo4 batteries in it. Is this 6v or 5v? I want 2 set ups... something for dripping, and something like a cart for on-the-go.

Suggestions from the IKV pros?

I use the HV 306's just fine with the same batteries in my Reo. They even come off the charger at 3.1 volt's respectively, and the 306's are amazing.

Using them on my Darwin @ 10w (gives me about 5.9v) nonstop, same good result..

Some juices are better at lower voltages..

If you have more than one of the HV 306's try that one..

I'm trying the 801 Fusion's for the first time. Also have used the V2's cartos and they're great.

IKV HV 306 atty with two AW LiFePO4 batts, whether in my PS V3 or P18, has been my ultimate setup ever since this atty made its debut. Until just recently when I received my ProVari, this atty paired with these batts provided me the ultimate sweet spot, just slightly above 10 watts. It provides a TH near the "reckless" range without suffering in the flavor department. But it has to be used properly in order to deliver properly.

Unlike 510 atties which need to be primed with 4-5 drops, HV 306 needs to be primed with 7 drops. After priming it, let it sit upright for a couple of minutes. Take two quick primer puffs and add two more drops. Now the atty is ready to be vaped with. Every time the flavor start to change slightly simply add no less than two and no more than three drops. If you don't prime it properly, it will always taste burnt no matter which juice you use. Also, I have found that de-wicking (not debridging) this atty helps tremendously in the fight against the burnt taste.

I've been using the same HV306 atty for over four months now and it simply rocks. Treat it right and it will deliver over and over. Good luck!

Also, did I read correctly that now that I've "burned" up this HV 306, I wont be able to get rid of that burning taste???

No, that's happened to all of us, probably. The burnt taste is coming from the wick and removing it will completely solve the issue. Let us know how it turns out for you please.

I'll mess with it tonight and report back. I love 306s, hopefully I'll figure it out! It has to be a combination of too much wick/too thick juice.

Also, if you have a multi meter, please check the resistance of this atty just to make sure it's coming in at around 3.5 ohm and that you didn't receive an LR labeled as HV. Things can happen, you know...

Definitely labeled "IKV HV", but I'll check the resistance to be sure.

Hey, I dunno if this is good place to ask but, is there a coupon code for new customers or just in general? I have a cart ready to go, and just wanted to try before I give it the green light. Thank you and sorry if this is an inappropiate spot to post this.

Nevermind, I found a code. I don't know how much it's worth, KOTTER, but I found it!

 Welcome to PureBlissVaping! :toast:

Now I have to go back and try all of my juices again to see what I've been missing!

Too bad all of these Top V##or bottles still taste like perfume : (

BWB and JC Apple Cider!

Also, how much life should I expect from these HV 306s?? Do they drop off in flavor or just pop when they're done?

Chornbro,

I got my first LR306 about three weeks ago and it is still bangin'. If this atomizer is on par with the lifespan of all the other atomizers you should EASILY get 3-4 months out of it and don't be suprised if you get much more than that. I have had one 801 mini last me many many many months and it is still working good as new. You will be astounded :)

Based on my personal experience, I agree with Scorched. They last "forever" but as previously suggested by Switched, Isaac and others, the juice you use will play a crucial role in how long the atty performs well. When I first started using the HV306, I was using a certain juice which seemed to affect all of my atties in a negative way, making the performance drop off considerably after just 2-3 weeks. The HV306 was not immune to it. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out how beautifully it responded to and recovered after a simple hot water rinse and a dryburn. In fact, I have performed multiple dryburns on a single HV306 atty and, as I previously mentioned, I've been using the same one now for well over four months...

So, yes, the HV306 will eventually start dropping off in performance. But with the wick previously removed it's seems pretty easy to bring it back to life.

More great info... thank you!

So it looks like I've found my happy place... 6v with IKV HV 306s. 3.7v with LR 306s are a very close second, but they just dont compare to 6v.

Since you guys have been so good, maybe I'll throw my next issue at you... 6v/HV306s are perfect, but I cant always drip (driving, on-the-go, etc.) so I need an alternative like a cartomizer/clearomizer or atty/cart for 6v on-the-go use. As always, I want this on-the-go, less-maintenance/refilling option to resemble dripping (TH, vapor, flavor) as closely as possible, but I am willing to sacrifice a little bit for convenience. Any Ikenvape product suggestions?

If you don't own a VV device yet, I would suggest trying all three of IKV LR cartomizers, the 510, 901 and KR-808. I really like the new LR 901 and LR KR-808 at 3.7V. I was in the search for the same thing and for the same reasons just a few weeks ago and these are surprisingly very satisfying. Just my thoughts.

Looking for something to use on-the-go with 6v... LR is no good : )

OK folks. You talked me into it. I got a few gold V2s and Premium Platinum's on the way to me. Now I have another question. I use eGo and SE Riva, and I'm currently very satisfied with Boge LR, EXCEPT for their lifespan and taste after 24 hours at best (which is why I'm looking at Ikenvape! :)

Ok. Two questions:
1) What's the difference between the two I ordered?

2) Which do most think I will like best, compared to Boge LR?

Thanks!
