Ah... 6v vaping... i just assembled the extended chameleon with 2 fully charged (they arrived fully charged, thank you Isaac!) AW16340 LifePOs and mini HV801. The total length and weight is very similar my single batt P16 with a fullsize 801LR. I must say it's nice to be using the little clicky lizard button again. vaping great so far and the atty is barely primed much less broken in :vapor:

I too like Iken's products I'd just like to be able to buy them. So far I've tried several of his offerings. There are several more I'd like to try.

I'm in the manufacturing business so I know all about R&D, costs involved, time involved, commitment, people, etc. Are these products still very "young"? I understand about bringing a product to market. Typically shortages in inventory when there is a demand are due to shortage of raw materials or glitches in the manufacturing process.

If I created offense I meant none. Only stating a harsh reality. That being said, Isaac's site is loaded in my browser daily along with this thread. I've dropped some decent coin with Isaac and I plan to support him through further purchases. The 801 Fusion, IMHO, is a fine example of a vendor being intimately involved in the R&D and the manufacturing process and getting it right.

Bottom line is that Isaac needs to keep things in stock or I don't care how good his attys and cartos are, if you can't buy them customers will get tired of chasing them down and simply go somewhere else. This is a budding market.

I'm cool with that. It just seemed you were dancing to a different tune with this post.

Well as hard as he tries to serve his customers and as good a guy as he is has allot to do with why I do business with him. That and I can't find cartos as good as his. I also know that as irritated as people are with his current stock crisis that he is just that much more bothered by it. He is doing all he can to get back in stock but sometimes things happen that even Isaac has no control over.

In response to the above:
There are plenty of vendors in the ecig world who are consistently OOS. These vendors, like Isaac, carry great quality products that are researched, well-made and sustain longer life-expectancy than others. Try and buy an Ali'i or a Reo if you think Ikenvape is frustrating! The fact is, this is a relatively new industry with new products at varying degrees of quality. Isaac doesn't ask top dollar for his products(and he Could!), he doesn't even ask for your patience for that matter, but you Won't find a more honest, genuine, and caring individual (let alone vendor) on these forums. If you have an interest in a certain product or products, I suggest you ask and he will give an honest assessment of when that product might be coming back in stock. Isaac demands more from his suppliers than other vendors which benefits US, his customers. Sorry for the rant, but one less customer = more products for those who understand what this guy strives for everyday. I will gladly supply the balance in "coin"

Ryan

PS When are you getting more 510's in? :p:p:p (had to lighten this one up a bit!)

No disagreements here.

I'm cool with that. It just seemed you were dancing to a different tune with this post.

Actually both my statements are true and folks will fall on either side of it.

I've shared several emails with Isaac and folks, I agree with everything you are saying. I'm old enough that I no longer desire to chase after "that next best thing". As a consumer, when I find something I like I tend to stick with what works if I can.

Him being OOS just encourages me to try the things he has in stock. Call me an eternal optimist, but I would have been happy indefinitely with my boring, lack-luster 510 (from another vendor). I tried the 801's and I love em! I had no idea what flavor was. I'm embarrassed to say I thought flavor=cartos and dripping was just hype. Then I met the 801's. Still felt this way, but Then I broke it in and the rest is history. mmm, mmm, good!

Ryan

PS Sorry to be a keyboard bully earlier, but Isaac was under the weather, it was late and I was feeling... well firey! :evil:

We're cool :) I don't recall seeing you post here before and, well the first post was a little off putting for the lack of a better word.

I hear ya wrt chasing after the next best thing. Once upon a time there was the CIA now there is the CIDC. I wonder how many spies they have on their payroll :lol: GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more Gaintomizer Royalsmokers

I really haven't posted in this thread before. I've posted a bunch in the other Ikenvape forum (suppliers). Yep we're cool. I do know that sometimes I tend to speak in black and white and that can be off-putting. Lots of years in law enforcement. :)

That is correct, we do have stock. The items that do not have an Add to cart button means that there are mass quantity discounts on that particular item and must be checked through the products listing. I tried to make the add to cart button for products but the service provider doesn't allow both to be available.

So, it is just a problem with your CMS then, okay. I thought it was an error or something. I guess I understand not wanting to give timelines, but I am just anxiously waiting to order more and it is good to know to be able to plan things. I think the 5 or so atties I have will last me. I want to have more to be able to test more DIY flavors though. Do you think you could at least tell me if some of the things I am looking to buy will come in around the same time, or they will be far apart?

Ryan;

No offense taken here. I totally understand your stance and as I've stated elsewhere, I'm the kind of person that finds what he likes and sticks to it. Unfortunately, forums don't let us see each others facial expressions. For instance, if you'd have said what you wrote face to face with me, and then gave me a wink, I'd know you were giving me a hard time in a good way and you were just being passionate. Again, no offense here.

I often tell my son to buy quality, and not "settle" for something lesser. Luckily Iken has great products and his prices are very fair. To top that off, he's a very engaged vendor and in this free global market, I take that very much into consideration and in the past have paid more for an item because of the relationship I was able to build with the vendor.

I didn't know Isaac was under the weather until just yesterday. I happened to backup a step from this forum and saw all the other threads (subs) under the Ikenvape banner and in there saw that he was sick. I read many of the posts. It is frustrating to suffer long term illness and more so if the doctors cannot find the cause.

Your Friend;
Chris

Hey Chris (nice to meet you)
I'm sorry that we got off on the wrong foot. I been thinking heavily on the crude reply I gave to you. I feel it was crude anyway and have felt pretty bad about it. Then come to see your a pretty cool guy just makes me want to write this apology all the more. It's not so much a large issue, but I been dealing with pressure about certain products (510-306) lately. With production running so slow because of the Chinese New Year coming up and lasting till FEB12 for the production side 8th I believe for CS side and how the run failed recently. I asked them to test the failure rate on 100 for the first run, it was 17-20 (200 out of a thousand) which was just unacceptable to the standards i strive for. I feel that we definitely came off the wrong foot and watd to give you a hardy Welcome :)

It is, and so annoying, I absolutely Hate to have you guys check each and every individual listing because of it, which is why I been looking for a new commerce provider to meet our requirements. The best way to do it honestly is to use the Email Notification Feature thats on the respective listings. Say for something like a 306, as you may know the 306 and 510 are made by the same manu. so you wouldn't really have to use the feature on both of them. Less painful as a temp fix ;)
