Hey Chris (nice to meet you)
I'm sorry that we got off on the wrong foot. I been thinking heavily on the crude reply I gave to you. I feel it was crude anyway and have felt pretty bad about it. Then come to see your a pretty cool guy just makes me want to write this apology all the more. It's not so much a large issue, but I been dealing with pressure about certain products (510-306) lately. With production running so slow because of the Chinese New Year coming up and lasting till FEB12 for the production side 8th I believe for CS side and how the run failed recently. I asked them to test the failure rate on 100 for the first run, it was 17-20 (200 out of a thousand) which was just unacceptable to the standards i strive for. I feel that we definitely came off the wrong foot and watd to give you a hardy Welcome :)

Hey Isaac, nice to meet you as well, although we've "met" via several emails/questions I've asked you and that you've quickly responded to. Honestly, I had to go back looking through the posts to see where you gave me a crude reply. I found the post on page #26 and re-read it. Didn't see where you were crude or disrespected me. I did see where you said I "could" go somewhere else. You didn't tell me "to go" somewhere else. No offense was received by me, however, as you are offering to me your hand of friendship I gladly reach out and take your hand. I here and now also proclaim to you my apologies in that anything I said may have offended you. It takes two to tango. There , now that that is done, it is forgotten.

I've added you to my Twitter app so I can see your posted updates on how things are going. I'm excited to try your attys when they come in. I'll keep my eyes on Twitter, your website and of course this thread.

Honestly CouldB, I just dont really understand it either. Usually I just 10 or so drops off the bat and let sit for a few minutes for the juice to get in nice an deep where it needs to be then vape away. I really don't want you walking away with a sour taste, so when I get more in (The order has been placed on the 26th and a shipping notice should be arriving in just a day or two) I'll send you out 3 more. Can you shoot me an email so I know who you are please?

Still nothing.....

Iken, just to let you know, I really appreciate your mobile website. If you do change commerce providers, I hope you're able to keep it.
Hiya Wharf! I could've sworn I replied to you! Our provider has once again prevailed in need, so the mobile site isn't going anywhere :D

Thank you Chris and again it is very nice meeting you and having you as friend In regards to emails, there are so many hence why forum time is to a minimum mostly. I definitely dropped the ball on this thread. The good news is before they left for holiday we did have a very successful run and upon return we'll finish the production on favored devices so please keep your eye focused. :)
Still nothing.....

There should be something on your doorstep or you PV :D

Hi Iken,

1st time vapor looking for info:

I was referred to your site by another ecf person.

I am looking for soft whistle tip that will fit eGo and some that will fit 501 PT - Do you have anything that can do this? Can you post a link to show me, so that I may order if you do?

Thank you,
D.
Hi D,
I just visit several sites that carry them and have found the cheapest in price by the 10 packs Joye 510 Flat / Whistle Tip Cartridges - 10 pack. Other places I found are more expensive for 5 packs.

Issac-I have a new one for you....Ready?????

I have found that the ego-T atomizer sits flush on the Chameleon with the 510 connection. It won't fire though. When I put in on with the 901 adapter/connection and add a 901-510 adapter, it fires. Do you think if I could get the center of the adapter to push up it would complete the circuit needed?

Isaac,

I would like to know when you'll have more of the XHV 801 atomizers?

They're GREAT with my 7.4V Indulgence! The only modification I have to do is, is to Dremel a couple of small slits into the collar. I do this because, when I screw the atty down, it ends up sitting flush to the top of my Indulgence, resulting in no airflow.

Thank you in advance for your timely response.

Sorry guys, I got a little lost in time there. This house hunting was accidentally set as my main focus this week.

Hmm Mis Tina, it sounds like we would need to push the center pin upwards but in the original Chameleon this movement would have to be Very minimal as it would break the connection from the button sector. A little magnet (the exact or smaller size than the pin) in between the center pin may also do the trick. Also Foil. Wait till you see what the new one can do ;)
Hello There! When do you think you will get some more of the HV 510 atties (3.5 ohm) in stock??? I wanted to order some but see there is none in stock. Any estimate???

CV

EDIT: Sorry, I meant 3.5ohm. I posted 3.0 ohm originally. Thanks.
Hi Chain, They will be shipping this week good sir. :) I hope you used the email notification feature on the 510's listing. Because these are going to soar out of here.

Hey Sanjosee,
The XHV are currently on hold for the moment as there are too many projects on my plate at the moment. If I see the demand grow I'll get on it quicker. When we first created them, they say in air tight chambers for a very long time to the point where it was just taking unnecessary room .

No Problem on the wait. Thanks for the reply. Yep, I did sign up for email notification. I will have to get some ordered once they come in. I have been vaping at 6V for awhile with the standard Joye510 atomizers and with some juices it works great, but some taste extremely burnt! YUCK! So I am excited to try these 3.5ohm 510 atties and see how they perform. Thanks again for the reply and HAPPY VAPING!

I tried foil -nada. Haven't seen any magnets that small :grr:.
I'll just hold my horses and wait for IT.:vapor:
lol no dice huh? How about if we put the adapter into a vice and squeeze a bit, to push the center pin up then use the foil on the bottom of the adapter and top of the button sector? To revert a brass punch out would be recommended/recommended.

Happy Vaping CV! Ouch, yes Joye atoms have a resistance of 2.2-2.4Ω Very harsh for 6V and a sure way to blow through many. Usually 4.5-5V is where you want to be at with them but even 5V pushes it pretty hard in longevity. We'll be up and rolling in no time and when we do it's definitely going to be worth the wait because these new batches will have US made heating elements for a different experience and even longer run times.

Hello everybody here in this forum, I have not posted for awhile. I have a problem with either my battery charger or my multimeter. I am using the black aw 16340 batteries they seem to be coming off the charge at between 4 and 5 volts. I know this does not seem right. My question is it the charger or meter. I also don't see any battery charges on your site atm.

I'm leaning towards the meter not working right I have some imr 14500 batteries and a different charger and they are reading high voltage also. I am using the hogda charger from ikenvapes site.

They should come off the charger at just under 4.2 volts, that's the ideal place to be. And the charger should consistently charge them to the same level.

The range you gave is pretty wide, are you saying that they come off the charger at widely varying voltages, different each time, and that you're seeing this wide range with all of your batteries? If so... i'd suspect the charger more than the multimeter.

Q: After the batt is charged up, does your multimeter give you consistent readings for that particular charged up batt?

Isaac used to sell the UltraFire WF-138A charger, but he doesn't anymore (not sure why). That charger works for 16340 batts. And it can also be used to charge 3v LifePO batts too, there's a 3v to 3.7v switch on the side.
Ultrafire WF-138A Lithium-Ion CR123A Battery Charger

The gold standard in chargers seems to be the Pila charger, but it's pretty pricey... the Ultrafire works for me.

Could be a wonkie or low battery in your MM. They will often do that when the batt is low. A good way to check your MM battery or MM accuracy. Do a test on an atty of a known resistance. That is how I troubleshot mine.

BTW the PCB will not permit an overcharge of the AW battery, unless the PCB is Kaput. Since both sets of batts are reading high I have a tendency to lean towards the MM. Change the battery = a cheap fix. Hope this helps :)
