Ikenvape LR attys...all hype?

I like Cisco and many here swear by Ikenvape's attys. I did give them a try with mini 801..didn't like it at all. Im thinking of giving them one more chance with a LR510s and breaking a rule of thumb "if its not broken dont fix it". So how many like them compared to Cisco's (yeah I know there on vacation to VapeStock).

My second favorite's, right after Cisco's are IKV 306 2.0Ω. The hit from them is "cooler" and a tad on the "airey side" to me. I keep several for "backups". "The Rumor Mill" has it that both vendors use the same supplier so, there really shouldn't be a vast difference between the two....or at least you'd think not.

I've only ever tried the 510 IKV 2.0's. I found them to last just as long as any other 510 I've tried (which is not too long). As for the comparison to Cisco's attys, I do find the Cisco's hit harder and last a bit longer than the IKV's..

All hype? I don't know. Some folks swear by them and some of their products. All I can comment on are their 510 2.0's.

Tho I only tried the mini 801...I found the same to be true. I have to confess that those who rave about them are friends that have my highest respect of their opinions but have to disagree with them on this issue. The site is down till they return so I can't see their products. Do they even have a 510LR 1.5Ω atty?

I love the 801 minis, Isaac is a great guy who really does put in the effort to make a great product. The new cannon series is having a problem and he is asking for input from users and i'm sure will correct that. From what I read he is a cargo user himself but is dedicated to producing a great selection of atty. Plus he's a local guy

They seem pretty different IMO ... at least with 510s .... I've hardly ever killed a Cisco 510, but all the IKV ones have died on me before i pulled them out of service.

The same supplier doesn't mean much .... its what spec they are made too.

The Toyota Camry and the Yaris both come from the same MFG
Totally different animal though.

And the rumor might be true, but it could just be they get the little brass threaded piece from the same place and they are built some were else. At the very least they are stuffed with different stuff at the same plant IMO>

I have used both. Cisco's seem to handle the thicker juice better. Now this is just my opinion. But I like both suppliers!

2 ohm is all I have ever seen from IKV.
When I first started using them he was quite a bit cheaper than Cisco so it seemed a good deal.
Now I think it's only a buck cheaper...... Maybe more in qty.

So I don't see the need.

I'm on the 5 dollar Joye train right now and loving it.
They are working so good that I would pay 9 bucks for them because they are working better for me then Cisco 1.5 510s.

Been a while since I've checked IKV site though so he may have added a 1.5 ohm 510.

Atty vendors are akin to juice vendors, in my opinion. Everyone has their own individual preferences. I might love Cisco attys, but my last couple of orders were for discounted attys from Boge and Joye. The Boge attys didn't impress me enough to reorder and the Joye attys (306's) are due to arrive in the mail any day now. IKV attys are ok. I like his 801 and 901 attys. The one LR 510 from IKV that I tried didn't last very long, but performed great during it's short life span.

I don't have the funds to try all the "premium" attys all at once. I order what I need, get the best use I can out of them, then buy more.

If Cisco attys go on sale the next time I'm down to 2 or 3 working attys, he might get an order from me.

Same thing with Issac's new Cannon attys. The concept appeals to me, but I don't have a need to order right now.

And when attys totally piss me off, and they do from time to time, I have 60+ brand new LR Boge cartos on standby.

I understand. I just want to give Issac's another fair chance to win me over from the disappointment I had from the mini 801 I tried. Trust me I get no kick out of paying top dollar to Frank at Avid but they been good to me. I got some Joyes that were great and some that were not...no consistency. I had gotten 5 from Rob way back and 1 was DOA 3 work good but didn't live long and 1 lasted almost 3 months...go figure.

Hi unsure. ikenvape lr 510's are actually 1.8. he just fixed it recently on the web site. they have been that way since the beginning of the year when he switched to us internals. I have tons of attys but now wish i'd spend the extra to have his brand. I don't know why i say that it's a "feeling". actually MWA would be better able to answer your questions

I have read that some folks have not been using their iken attys on the grands. they do work on the woodvil just fine
