I got some Joyes that were great and some that were not...no consistency. I had gotten 5 from Rob way back and 1 was DOA 3 work good but didn't live long and 1 lasted almost 3 months...go figure.

Are you sure they were Joye from Rob and not East Mall ??

I just wonder because I have 9 of the LR Joye 510 attys going right now.
No DOA, and everyone is working exactly the same .... flawless.

To be perfectly honest, the last batch of Cisco 510s I got were 1.8 and no consistent at all.

I also have 6 of the SR Joyes in rotation for the 5v batt stack with equally pleasant results.

I know iv'e been singing the Joye praise song pretty hard lately, but I feel its warranted.
For me they are working perfectly, and if for some reason I get them for 9 bucks instead of <5 I would still choose them over Cisco at this point.

So half price and better performance is pure win for this vaper :)
I have 20 more VK Joye's in 1.5 due to arrive today.
I will test a couple and if they are as good as the last batch I am going to jump on 40 more quick just incase the quality goes down hill in the future.

I've been using the mini 801s from Ikenvape for some time now. Love them.

Flavor is more important than TH for me and that's why I stick with the 801s.

The ones I have are coming to 4 months old and still work very well.

I usually always have one IKV 801 going on a native wood Reo. Whole different experience. Many times I'll have same juice in Woodvil, Grand, Mini, all at 3.7v. Right now unbranded LR 306 on Mini, VK LR 510 on Grand and Tall 2 Ohm IKV 801 on 801 native 801 Woodvil. The different attys, on each different Reo gives a totally different experience and taste even using same juice.

That being said, DH started vaping, Aug 2010 with 801 Pen style batteries, which uually work best with 801 3 ohm, but battery life is pretty short. So I've purchased and used several different brands and ohm ratings since August 2010, all low bridge. I've had the native 801 Woody since Fall 2010 and do go different voltages, 3.7, 5, 6. 7.2. Although the 801 is probably the toughest, most durable atty, and hard to kill or pop, I do prefer any IKV 801, any ohm, to any other make 801.The only 801 that either of us has killed was a 3 ohm on 3.2 battery, that DH popped the first week he was vaping. I have never killed any 801 but a very few have gotten "long in the tooth."

I have been using probably every make/ ohm 306 and my experience is that the Cisco and IKV are superior and keep up quality vape even after months of use. I clean and dry burn regularly and keep about 10 in rotation. They are more expensive so if one is an atty assassin, getting only a week or so from an atty, I would advise going with cheaper, bulk 306.

I've found the greatest difference in makes of attys in the 306.

I've used probably every 510 made in last 10 months. The difference in those are not as drastic, in my experience, as with the 306. I have some Joye 510, 1.5 t0 2.5 that we've had in rotation for as long as 10 months. With my cleaning technique, and our vaping style, they can last a very long time. The Vapor King bulk are a great price. The EM that were good, out of package, and/or not dead or deformed, when new, vape very well, but have worn out more quickly than the Joye or IKV or Cisco. From now on we're going to save money and buy most LR 510 and standard, for 5 v, in bulk. I'll still get some "extreme" ohm 510 from Cisco or IKV though.

not really sure. They just might have had the EM on them from East Mall. I thought Joye and EM were one in the same. Just goes to show you what I know. :)

I do get it. Joye's have always been my fall back choice. I think our personal experiences lead us to our varied opinions. with Cisco new threading process I might find myself leaning more to Joye attys. I have 2 Cisco incoming and just in case I did order 3 Joye 3060LRs from GP should the new Ciscos dont work on my Nebula.

Has anyone gotten Cisco Attys not marked for REOs and have them work?

I have the last two sales with VapeLite. The first order I was reo ignorant of the issue. The second I plain forgot. I haven't threaded all on, but 3 outta ten have worked fine and @ $3.50 ea my wallet appreciates.

Ya, when they are fussy, it's like a bad lighter. Juice sounds suspect. One trick you may or may not know on the mini and the new cannons as well.... They are hogs and do need to be kept wet. I go just this side of gurgle. Tip atty to almost horizontal for a second or two and then vape. Gets the juice back to the bridge so it can wick. Love the minis too. mwa's tip on the o rings is really great also. It won't keep an overfull cup from spilling IME, but the proper amount of juice, yes it works well. Also keeps dust and pocket lint outta the cup and I really like that.

The only other 801 I have tried is from GP and compared to IKV, they just don't for me. Bridge was very small & narrow.
I had an 801 Mini die on me this evening. I just started using it a day or two ago. I swear, it's this one juice that I like but has killed 3 other attys in short order. :grr:

I have one 801 Mini left and it gives me a burnt flavor unless I really flood it. Burnt wick?

*sob*

I love/hate atomizers. I really do.

Within the last 4-6 weeks. I'll have to find the thread for you. You could buy 5 max 2.0 ohm @ $3.50 ea.

We are talking Cisco attys right?!?!? Oh hell ya show me the thread....I want some of that action if possible. In the last 2 days I have either bought or traded for 7 LR attys and 3 of them are Cisco. Im getting a Mini Nebula to feed. lol
