Well I think it's an isolated issue with the drip tip. The center post is very loose like maybe the insulator slipped inside so not to worry. The 510 gold I'm not having to good of luck with. The first one burnt up the second one still works but not very good after first refill. I'm using a fusion right now and I love them guys. I think maybe I'm doing something wrong with the 510s so I wouldn't worry to much right now. Dang I love these fusions. My last one lasted 3 weeks.

Update:
The 510 gold had the oring come out, I think it was me over tightening it on the adapter. I put it back in and it's fine now. Just be careful not to over tighten it. The drip tip didn't have an insulator at all in it but that happens sometimes so I think I figured out all my issues and all is well.

In the words of a famous house cat. I iz confuzed. IT sounds like the center pins on the device is pushing the atties center pin in, but these had have no depth to them. :?:

Te center pin on the 510 yes the adapter pushes it in to far bcause I over tightened it. OOPS The drip tip never had one in it from the get go but that happens in production or shipping or............... But it's all good. The rest of the drippers work great and if I keep my self from over tightening the 510s they work great too.

I think it was just a fluke Isaac. mean whenever you make, pack and ship twice etc. a product there is a chance one out of a thousand might get messed up. At least it was one of the ones you sent to test. Your shipping was so fast I got my order before I got to the second tester.

Now the 510. I've been spoiled by the vapor production and performance of the fusion, drip tip and the megas and thats why the 510 isn't my favorite carto. It doesn't perform as well as these others do. Although it does perform good I'm now used to the massive vapor these others put out and I can honestly say I'll be using, and in this order, your Fusion, Drip Tip cartomizer or Mega from now on in my vaping life. I challenge anyone to show me a better cartomizer than these.

Day 2 of the new cartomizers, and i am very happy so far.

At 4.47v, these cartomizers produce fuller vapor and a slightly better throat hit than a LR 306 atty @ 3.7v. Bringing the carto to work tonight to give it a full 8 hour workover. Stoked.

Edit: not my day it seems. This one died on my walk to work. Two more have died since. :(

Died? I have never had a carto die on me. I use a carto for about 4 days, typically, and then toss it when it starts to taste funky. Never had one quit on me. Am I just incredibly lucky?
You must be. I've had a few die on me but that comes with the territory when you vape at 6v. lol I'm looking forward to getting a VV mod so that will be a thing of the past.

I've had one or two out of the hundreds I've used except for the problem I had with that one. I've never had one of ikenvapes cartos die. I don't consider that one as dying on me. It just had a problem from the start. The ones that did die on me was from to much voltage when I first started vaping. My last fusion lasted 3 weeks.

Wrt adapters, I can't find the Dr vapor video or the segment. However, in the particular vid they recommend to always screw the adapter to the atty/carto and then to the device. I know that the P18 has a deep well and one can easily over tightened a an atty/adapter with it. In particular the 801 adapter. I have found that my 306s do not work well after a bout on the P18, going to another device. I find my self having to nudge the centre post out ever so slightly to have them work on other devices. Considering the thickness of the insulator ring (0.5mm at best), shorting them out is easily done. I hope this helps...
