I just rinsed out my one and only Drip Style. This is the first time I've ever tried to clean a carto. That's how much I like this one. I hope it comes out OK. I'd like to keep it going until more are available.

So how did it come out buddy? Should I keep my old ones or toss them?

You need to find out for yourself here 5 car, and no I'm not pulling your leg. If it helps, I won't be doing mine again. That being said I will be careful which liquids I vape in them. The one I started last Mon is still going strong.

Dang! I forgot, I am stil vaping the BB Mebnthol we received to test.

just checkin in guys and no, i have not tried my fusion drip tips that i got in yet lol! i'm still diggin my new 2.0 LR 901's. i swear i will christen them soon. i DID christen the 801 LR shorty the other day though :) very nice, but i love my iken 2.0's so much it's hard to pry them out of my hand! wish my precise had native atomizer tops. part of the reason it's so hard for me to switch around atties, is i get confused with all the male/female adapters i have. (major ole ladyitis) i keep ordering more thinking i'm missing one, and then i realize i have a bunch of the same ones, but not the one i need.

i should have kept them in the little bags with the labels!!

Gotta let it dry. Don't know yet. How does someone who's done it before clean a cartomizer anyhow? I just flushed it out several times with PGA in a syringe and blew out all I could.

Anyway you can to get them clean. When I did it I boiled them and blew them out. Then I put them on my comcast cable box to dry because it had heat coming off the processor and I was in a hurry. I haven't done any for 7 mo.

Two things Switched. #1 the hand sqeeze won't work for us because we don't have paws. #2 you leave my leg alone.

Just recharged the drippy stylie with my patented menthol - tobacco blend. Sucker took 40 drops without a whimper. Tastes and performs like brand new right now. I guess the proof will be in how long that lasts. I replaced the tip with a plastic "twisted" drip tip a friend gave me. It's too darned cold here for stainless.
Yeah, so, for now so far so good!

P.S. I'm using it on the GLV. Delicious, warm clouds of goodness.

Cool I'll maybe try that. They last so long and I have a bunch so it's going to be awhile. When I started using cartos I washed them all the time but it seems I've become lazy or maybe not as frugal as I once was. But I do like to recycle.

Hey 5card, Isaac warned me against using PGA for a rinse on those. I seem to have gotten away with it this time but he said that there are fibers in the wrap that could be broken down by alcohol. He suggested a warm water rinse instead.

Hello,

I did not want to start a completely new thread just to ask questions that may have been asked before. Unfortunately, I can't find answers in this sub forum or with search on the main forum.

Is there anything structurally or physically different about the cartomizer part of these? Meaning, if I buy a Boge 510 carto and put my own drip tip on it, will I have the exact same thing?

I have seen a few comments that the filler material is not packed as tight on these which is good. Is there anything different about the coil or wire that make these superior?

As far as the drip tip goes, the one thing turning me off from these is the metal drip tip. I don't care for metal as it gets really cold and uncomfortable to me. If these were offered with plastic shorty tips I would be more inclined to try them out. Is there any plan to offer plastic tips instead of metal?

Also, I thought I read that there were going to be packs of these sold with 5 cartos and 1 drip tip. Is that going to happen?

Thanks

You can get these without drip tips. I have used and as a matter of fact have 50 boxes of different cartomizers and I think except for the 2 ego megas I just sold I have everyone there is. None and I repeat none of them are as good as the ones Ikenvapes makes. The jury is still out on the 510 but it looks like I might be saying that about them too. I had one that was excellent that really amazed me and I'm trying another one now. Iken engineers his to his specks. The Fusion is my favorite with the drip tip coming in second.

I hope the reproduction cycle comes out okay but I'm a little curious about the mating ritual involved.

The one thing I can address with certainty is that the tips on these work better with them than the derlins or the twisted tips. The one that comes with these have a wide opening all the way through and distribute the juice around the edges and into the filler better. The tips with smaller holes seem to direct the juice to the middle of the carto. I don't like metal tips either. They kinda suck when you're outside in the winter. I just make sure my carto is full before I go out and then throw on one of my plastic ones.

Oh, I'd like to add that I don't know why but these cartos ARE amazing. The first hit I took off of one of these made my eyes widen with surprise. The draw is smooth and easy, the vapor production was great and the flavor is more rich and clean than anything else I've tried. I suggest you give them a try. You'll see.

I'll back that statement up, 5card whatya think the fusion would be like in a Mega and the dripping carto is darn good, I'm still using one now from a long time ago and its going strong real strong

Probably work pretty god as a mega but sometimes you can't improve on perfection. The drip tip carto I'm using now is a juice hog. It's not like the last one. It really laps up the old juice like I used to drink JW Red in my younger days. It really puts out the vapor though and I guess that takes juice to make. It just amazes me how someone hasn't made cartos and attys this good before. I mean the Drip Tip, the Fusion, the Mega, the 801 mini are all exceptional products and some more I haven't tried.
