IKV 510 Gold V2 not working

Problems like this have been posted before; I just can't find it now. This is the first time it has happened to me, but two cartos that I filled new today do nothing when I attach them to the battery. Oddly, it was the first time I had used the cartos without the drip tips(I know they are the same cartos). Could someone tell me what needs to be adjusted to make it work?

Using a paperclip or tweezers, try to gently raise the center post on the battery portion of your PV. Some attys/cartos push them down and then shorter ones won't make contact.

Thanks; I tried that and I even have a pv that can be adjusted with an allen wrench. It still won't work. I think it's DOA!

Hey player30, I had the same problem with a pv with adjustable set screw. Certain carto's or atty's would not fire no matter how I adjusted set screw on headcap. My suggestion is try it on another pv or test with multimeter.

Bingo! Most problems are with equipment and not the atty/carto perse. I know folks do not want to hear this but... 9 months in, no problems.

Being technically illiterate (but an economic wiz!!) was the reason I posted the question in the first place. I am not trying to point a finger; I was trying to figure out if I could get the carto to work. My GLV2 SM is working fine with my other cartos, and my Volcano Infernos are also working fine with my other cartos, but this carto won't work. And the only cartos I use is the Gold V2. It's NBD; if one is DOA, that happens. My only regret is that I put 30 drops in it!!

My husband just did it for me. He has an old timey voltage meter. And bingo, no current flows (infinite resistence). The other two I measured did register current flow. I think that answers my question. Thanks for walking me through it!

Just do a reverse Taryn spin and take the juice back out. I do it everytime I finish a carto and have saved allot of juice that way.

I've had the same problem with both the DT and non-DT. I am getting around 2 in 10 that either have no resistance or die within 20 minutes. I don't vape above 5v and usually around 4.5v. That being said, they are the BEST carts I've ever used until the Fusions. And at their price point, even compared to others, I'd rather have 80% of my carts awesome than 100% of mediocre.

The only thing you haven't found is my money. Give it up.

I've had great luck with mine. I haven't had one bad one yet. Be careful not to turn the center post when raising them because that will kill them.
