In an email from a vendor I respect, I was presented with an image of this "Hot Seller".
(This is another image of said product which I could embed into this post)

Looks like a juice box I thought. Not a responsible product designed to be marketed to adults trying to preserve their right to choose their products in this market that is still under attack these many years later. I contacted the vendor with my concerns and will do so with the maker also. There is a "Not to be sold to minors" tag at the bottom but, c'mon please.
This, to me, is handing the Antz a loaded weapon and asking to be shot.
Thoughts?

I dont like this idea that if something looks like Candy... its going to be marketed to Kids. Adults like Candy too...
The minors that Candy (Could) appeal to are 5-10 year olds. If your 5-10 year old manages to find a way to buy e-liquid, you have much bigger problems than the marketing.
On the other hand, if you look at the minors USUALLY using E-cigarettes, you usually have young adolescents 13-17...
at that point, I would assume that they know what they are purchasing, and not purchasing it simply because the package looks like candy.

not that the blame doesnt still rest partially on the parent...
old enough to read as well.

I find it funny. Yes. Young vaper numbers are High. And Young smoker numbers are low.

But just because something looks like candy, doesnt automatically make it a marketing tool.

Take... the little swirly dishwasher or clothes detergent capsules. They look like candy...swirly and colorful.
Or flavored Condoms? But we do not attribute that to the rise in young people having relations in the last 50 years.

anyways.. Point being.... I dont like how people place all the blame on the marketing of the company (Not the OP, More ANTZ).
Educate your kids when they are too young to know better, And when they are... well.. they are probably doing it to spite you.

There is always some group or Government Agency/Official who will target products because of advertising. They went after Vodka distillers for flavored Vodka. Lets not forget we were young once and what we ourselves did when not of legal age.

I DO NOT condone selling products to minors but when the government can send you to a war zone but you can't smoke or drink legally there is something wrong.

From your original statement it looks like the packaging concerned you enough to contact the vender and voice them.
