What is the difference between giving a 13 year old a e-cig so they won't ruin their health with real cigarettes and giving a 13 year old free condoms in school so they won't get pregnant? I could be looking at this all wrong.

As a parent of a teen I'd be upset if either were given to them. Minor sales should be banned, just common sense.

For those complaining about the law, kids aren't stupid. They'll find a way around it. I highly recommend not taking any dose of nicotine until at least the age of 23, but it's going to happen anyway. The brain is not fully developed until the age of 21, at the very least. 23 happens to be an average. When neurotransmitters are blocked or flooded with a chemical unnecessarily at a young age, dependence is much more difficult to mitigate.

I, for one, don't believe that we should be fighting human nature. We should harness it and use it to our advantage. Human action is more powerful than legislation, and the economy is a result of human action. This is a chief reason why I decided to get into politics in Romania. Sadly, I had to leave the US because I just can't coexist with the IRS :p

I don't want to appear mean.... yet I seem to feel as many, that many enter the USA while they can suck on the system and leave when the tides start to turn.

No reason for me to take offense. I haven't made it clear that I was born in the US. I am still an adviser and mentor for several small businesses in the country despite my departure. More than 200 businesses in the US are still afloat despite today's economic tide directly and indirectly due to the advice I've provided for them, which I often post on major publications. It's illogical to question my loyalty, yet I understand it when people do so. It's a strange love story, after all :D
