it's all good, I'll just take a swat of the tasty vaporGCC in between mouth fulls of sawdust

That really does help :) I am on a diet and I recently came up with a sweet and gooey cookie recipe. I swear if I vape it with a glass of milk it is almost as good as the real thing!

I wish that was true Salem! When I was under 30 I struggled to keep weight on! Once I passed the 30 mark it caught up with me and I have to be more careful. I would love to *waller* all over that german chocolate cake LMAO!
I was/am the same way. I got up to 218 (never weighed more 165 ever) at one point. Some meds I was on caused some weight gain, that and I wasn't exactly eating healthy. Switched to some different meds and started eating better and got back down to 175.

Oh AG! Thank you for posting these pictures! I have been really curious to see what it is like for you. Good thing the other 199 in your tent are friendly, huh? j/k But that is CLOSE quarters. Betsy really looks a lot better than what I imagined she would :) Tell SGT. Alspach that we have seen him in his boxers so we are all friends now :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Oh, those pictures bring back fond, and not so fond memories. When we were lucky enough to be in one of the tent cities it was more like staying in the Ritz compared to spending weeks or more without tents... I believe the best treat I experienced was when "Red Horse" would show up and their magical "MKT Tent" (mobile gourmet kitchen) and cook steaks or seafood. It was rare, but very welcomed after mre hell... You and all your buddies stay safe!

Oh man, you really are old school huh? Last deployment in Iraq we lived in those 3 room trailers with 2 man rooms, so when we got to these tents everyone was disappointed lol.It really isn't that bad though now that they put us 10 deep into 20 man tents. I tell you this, I've seen other units accommodations and they will have to drag me kicking and screaming out of the air cav!
btw, the mkt's are still welcome sights. the locals that do our cooking here just don't have that touch that army cooks do.

WHAT A GREAT THREAD and thank's for sharing your digs with us Army.
STAY SAFE!

no prob, if I can get out in the daytime one of these days I wanna get some pics of the city up. It's really a pretty incredible sight. man you should see the way they pimp out the vehicles here. Even the semi trucks get the once over from the local artists.
