We just got upgrades to our air conditioners so your good karma has to be paying off. Man it feels good in here

The dessert without decent air conditioning... OMG that must suck! I lived in South Florida for 10 years and hated being more then a few feet from where the AC was blowing (that is why I am in Montana now, but those negative 40 degree days aren't so great either). I am very glad to hear your AC is blowing cool and hope it continues to do so!

I lived just a wee bit south of tampa my whole life and then texas for a bit, so I'm better prepared for this heat then most of the yankee types out here. But man I also appreciate some good a.c.!
Yea, I just saw that
yeah man, He's right though. As soon as we all start tossing beliefs someone gets offended and never comes back. Great new avatar by the way lol.

10 years living in South Florida, everyone said I would adjust. I never did. I prefer a cooler climate. There is only so many items of clothes you can take off and then you are in your 'birthday suit' and still hot. At least in a cooler climate, you can get a good pair of thermals, and keep layering until your warm. Even here on a negative 40 degree day, light a good fire, wear a warm sweater and cuddle under a furry blanket and it is all good!

My hats off to you. I could not make it in the dessert. I spent a few weeks in Isreal decades ago and the site seeing was awesome, but the thing I remember the most is how hot it was. A dip in the dead sea didn't help because the salt just irrated the sun burn. But the floating thing was neat.

Maybe the next package to you should include one of those cheesy hand held fans and you can mod it to cool all of Afghanistan!

Just dropping into the tent to say "Hi" and "Bye" AG. Good news about the a/c upgrade. I believe that is the force being with you. I won't be around any more today so that is why I am stopping in the middle of your work day--plans for the big city tonight (Chicago). I hope my popping in is finding you in good spirits and good health today. Remain safe, Young Desert Walker.

Good health and good spirits for sure. A good hard day of work always ends like that for me. Have a good time gramva

Glad to hear you are in good health and good spirits and I hope the rest of the guys with you are as well!

OK guys, I really need someone to tell me where to get the best menthol flavored juice. Not only do I want to send some off in the next care package, but now my mom wants me to get her some to. The only place I know of to buy good liquid is Kick Bass. I went up there and it says it is a "newport" flavor menthol and not a "kool" flavor menthol. Mom says she prefers a "kool' flavor.

Also AG what is the desired level of nicotine there in the desserts, 24, 30, 36? Rather send something you guys enjoy and can easily use!

Hi Moorea--I only vape the cool flavors and have tried from many. I like Vapor Bomb's Arctic Ice, and Vapor 4 Life's Peppermint. I think your mom would love either one of those. It cannot get much cooler than that without giving frostbite to the lungs.

Morning.....I mean evening, AG. We had a great evening. Went to see a Neil Diamond tribute show and had a great dinner. Who is Neil Diamond you ask, oh young whipppersnapper? Well, sonny back in my day, he was a very prolific songwriter and singer. The Justin Bieber for grandmothers. And you would have had a great laugh at all the grey haired, bald, or Miss Clairol enabled people clapping, dancing, and singing in the audience. My younger husband would have rather been at an Aerosmith concert--but that is the price you pay for marrying an older woman. (tho I am an Aerosmith fan also).

Praying that all is well in tent city and the desert on the other side of the world. Looking forward to an update on your current world. Be safe, stay cool.

The Justin beiber for grandmothers huh? I know your husbands pain though, kindof. My step dad and I went to a wasp show some years back ( I went because mushroomhead opened for them) and all the old beer-gutted grey haired biker types were singing and weeping during wasp...lemme tell you, it is really uncomfortable to watch a room full of bikers wiping the tears out of their handlebar mustaches. Although I gotta say that wasp did put on a pretty cool show.

Ha,ha! The first concert my son ever went to was when he was 16 years old. It was an ACDC concert so of course my husband and I were there too. Angus may have been old but he was still a baaaaad .... lol Funniest part was my son was right in front of the stage with his friends. My husband and I were up in the balcony so we had a straight shot of vison to him. Well he happened to be right where all of the girls were up there pulling
their shirts up to flash:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
Ok it was really funny at the time. I remember later on in the week my son asked me if it was normal not to be able to hear after a concert. I said only if the concert was good :p

BTW- When my son was 16 I was 33 and hubby was 36 :)

Thanks, I will point my Mom in that direction for her menthol vape! See and the only thing I thought Neil DIamond did was the Jazz Singer!

AG, I thought there was a "hint" that you guys wanted some menthol. But in last nights (or maybe it was morning for you) post, it sounded like you didn't really care for the menthol. So what flavors are you guys liking there? Fruity, Dessert, Candy, Coffee's? Maybe I will have to treat you guys to KBV WTF! It is good!

Reminds me of a concert I took my mother to about 3 years ago. The Rolling Stones played here in Montana about 2 hours away (it was a huge thing as you usually have to go 6 hours to Washington to see a big concert) and I thought it would be fun to take my mom as when she was young, they were a favorite of hers. I have never been to a concert in my life (and I have been to many) that had such a variety of different ages. Everything from teenagers, young children with their parents or grandparents, us middle age folks, to some very, very old people that made my Mom look young! I don't know what was more entertaining watching mick jagger rock, or watching the older folks dance and chear and hold lighters in the air!

We caught AC/DC in 1999 in south florida right before we moved! It was an awesome show and one of loudest I had ever been to (with Judas Priest and Alice Cooper running a close second as far as being loud goes). We had front row seats and that concert was the start of my husband going deaf in his left ear. What finished his left ear was 6 months later (whie his ear was still ringing from AC/DC) he was showing a friend of mine how to shoot a pistol and she fired before he had a chance to move back and put in his ear plugs! Guess I should be happy she did not shoot him.

Either way, AC/DC rocked hard and allowed me to check off one of the few bands on my list of I must see them before I die. Now the only band left on that list is the eagles!
