Hi AG...checking in to see how things are on the other side of the world.....in a tent......in the desert.

There is a story behind that Trifecta....I won that in a Bloog contest to name their new pass thru....I came in 2nd place with the name Trifusion. They liked Trifecta better, but my name got the 2nd most votes. So I passed it on to you...I did not use it much at all... right after I received it, I discovered V4L and liked their 808s a lot better, so I kinda forgot about the Trifecta.

Sounds like you are still enjoying the packages, and Salem's cookies are still coming so you will be even more popular (if you share them...maybe you hide them....I would.)

Hoping this post finds you enjoying life as much as you can.....considering. Hugs coming to you from Illinois. Stay safe.

AG I know nothing about guns, but it all sounds cool.

Salem I wouldn't have traded with you, I love you too much! Bad days just make us stronger, right? :)

Bov! That really made my day :) You are just a very kind and sweet person that deserves nothing but the best and you just tell MIL that I said so LOL!

Well the mystery of the missing Janty has been solved. I had a box that I already started packing with everything inside wrapped in bubble wrap and taped up. So I just reopened it all and low and behold there is the Janty and the 801s. If there is something that I need to check with it before I send it off to AG just let me know.

Ahh you make it sound terrible over here lol. It could be worse ya know? I could be sleeping on a 3 year old mattress with really angry springs still. But we traded the Germans a case of Dr. Pepper 1 for 1 for some memory foam mattresses that they have issued to them. Very good stuff! Thanks though :D
Hugs back at ya!

Hey AG--it sounds like you have it better than I do. My mattress is 19 years old and I hate it. It is worn out, but my hubs loves it...says he sleeps better on it than on anything else. It is all lopsided....with his side going down hill and my side sticking up in the air. I wonder if I could get a new one if I sent the Germans some cases of Dr. Pepper? If I told hubs it was an imported mattress, it might impress him enough to let me replace it.

A 3 year or 19 year old mattress sounds better than trying to sleep in the swamps and 110% humidity.
We do what we got'ta do - when we got'ta do it.

No regrets

That is funny Gram. You need to bring in a cut off saw and slic e that baby down the middle. Then Hubs can keep his half and you can get a new half. I'm still laughing about trading for soda.

Sorry I bailed on everyone in mid conversation, not feeling well today and had to go lay down. Now I am watching the show about rebuilding ground zero, they are building some really awesom buildings and doing some really cool things there.

All the gun talk is just so far beyond me, it shouldn't be as I have a complete arsenal in my bedroom, but it is. And the hubby stopped translating as he was to busy watching the Miami Dolphins woop the Dallas Cowboys. The gun you linked to looked nice, basically looked the AR15 in our safe!

I have been thinking of trying one of those Ego Megas. I just got some 2.0 DCs in today and so far they are rockin. I just can't bring myself to spend that kind of $ on a carto when I can use a regular DC with a tank :)

I'll have to ckeck those out. I am really happy with my fusions and today the one I am using is kicking ..... I usually try to use my juice oldest first, but today I decided to put my newest juice in. It is less thick and less dark then the older juice and I can not believe the vapor coming out of it. I can't see through it. I have to find a way to not let my juice get old.

Well glad that mystery is solved. Nope I don't think anything needs to be checked. Like I said it was firing when I packed it and it was only used for a couple of days, at worst the batteries might just need a little longer of a charge. I'll try to pick up more before the next care package goes out.

Well that sounds like a win/win then and hate Dr Pepper. Sounds like you are sleeping more comfortably then I do. I go to sleep w/ 2 labs and 2 beagles sleeping on me every night, while the hubby has the other half of our king size to himself!
I actually really miss that..having my blue heeler and husky pushing each other off the bed while me and my wife fight for the blanket on an oooooold mattress. Problem with the big mattress was that I got so used to the itty bitty mattress last deployment, that when i got home I'd sleep dead still in bed, and for the first couple weeks the slightest movement from her would shock the hell out of me. I'd wake up ready to run to a bunker but trip over dogs which confused me more.

The dogs unfortuantely don't push themselves off the bed (at least not usually) they try to push me off the bed! They learned really quickly they the hubby needs his space so they all cuddle up all over and around me. The result is I have 200+ lbs of dogs lying on me!

Secret to a good mariage ... seperate blankets!

I know it takes a toll on you in more ways than one :( My nieces hubby was there a few years back and came back with nightmare and thunderstorm issues to mention a few :(

Let me just add that I am pretty sure that he was not sleeping on a foam mattress either though :)
We bought a Tempurpedic a year ago after being sick and tired of spending $ on the spring mattresses that would get lumpy and bumpy after a years time. It was rather pricey but I swear it was worth every penny :)

I've got friends I can't even drink with for the same problem. They just got their heads wracked a little too hard. I was pretty lucky to be mostly working for the Iraqis and didn't deal with as much as the force protection side. The only bad stuff was hearing mortars slap around and not know where they were. So far this deployment isn't as "exciting" as the last (knocking on wood).

Hey pokey! That's the greatest avatar ever :D too bad I hate cats more than camels.
