They rub off on you fast Bov! Pokey was there too and I have noticed changes already ?

Changes? What changes? It just brought out the "best" in me, lol.

Pokey must have gotten lost under the covers because I haven't seen any posts from her today (maybe I just missed them, been busy working all day).

There are far worse places to get lost, Mo-Moo-Ms. Rea.

But, alas, I wasn't lost UTC. In fact, not lost at all other than being a lost soul during the Big Crash...there's a whole forum out there beyond this place and sometimes I just don't make it back here. I know, I know. How could I forget? It's just one of those things, a Classic Pokey thing if you will. :)

Hey everything's fine here. Our A.C. unit shorted out and literally blew up our generator which caused all kinds of fun. Spent the last 3 days with no A.C. and very sporadic internet. I can't tell you how much fun it is to try and sleep in a tent in afghanistan with no electricity. That is so far the only downside to working night shift. So how is everyone?

Oh hell no. I pity you Army. I can't take heat. Give me cold anyday. It seems you can always get warm but cooling down seems harder. It's only around 78 degrees outside but I got the AC going already. I do hope everything is good with you again. I won't be able to sleep worrying about you not being able to sleep because of the heat.

I'm with you 5card, 10 years of living in south florida everyone said I would adjust... it never happened! You can only take off so many items of clothes until you are naked and still hot! I can of course live without the negative 35 degree days (I'm sure you remember them) but I still will take them over going back to the heat.

Hi AG, hope everything will be up and running again for you soon. Does not sound like fun. Doesn't sound like a down side to night shifts, given the choice I'd rather try to sleep in the desert heat then work in it.

I sure hate to hear that AG! Lets see a tent in the desert with 200 guys no ac or electricity. UGH! That can't be fun at all :( I hope that you were able to store your juice from the heat :) Do you have ac now?
