He will always be Sarge to me. Of course if I shorten it he may end up being DD too
I just want to take a moment here to stop.
We thank you AG, and Sarge and the rest of the troops often, and to a man and woman we mean it from the bottom of our hearts.
But TODAY is not like most other days. It is a significant day. You are where you are today because of this date.
TODAY I would like to salute you and to thank you and all our troops for your dedication to this country.
I want to let you know how honored I am to have met you here and gotten to known you.
I want you to know how grateful I am for all that you all do for this country.
I want you to know how much I appreciate the the tremendous sacrifice yours and all the military families have to deal with.
And I hope that we all as a country can remember on this day what we can do when we put aside all the differences and come together as a nation.
Know that my prayers and wishes are with you each and every day.

Well said Wharf. You guys have made this deployment a helluva lot more bearable. It's pretty nice having a group of good people to come and B.S. with not to mention all the soldiers you guys have given a hand up to. I've honest to god never seen an outpouring of support like I have from all of you. So thanks for your kind words, but I'd like to thank you all for helping us keep our heads up.
