Like Bov, I didn't have a plan for today, but so far so good. I am still annoyingly busy, but it is nice to have a few minutes now and then to stop by and say hello to all!

The bubble isn't a totally bad idea, but now and again I would have to take her out. She is at an age where often spending time with her is like sitting with alien that doesn't even breath the air we do. But I have to admit, as she comes closer to being an adult, there are times I really enjoy her company and find it nice to relate to her on a more grown up level then when she was younger! Who knows maybe it would just be easier to visit her in the bubble!

Now the bubble would be a wonderful idea for my 10 year old son who has ADHD!

That is what my mom would of said about me. she would have put me in a bubble in a heart beat.

I'm thinking maybe if I scheduled my days sometimes, I wouldn't be sitting here at 7pm trying to get my work done!

I wouldn't mind sending something good to eat in the next care package... I just can't think of something that will make it through all the travel and still be good to eat, so if anyone has any suggestions! I make a kick azz lasagna, but that wouldn't make it!

Hey Sarge, surely you guys do get some type of cooked meals there? Is there anything that is any good at all?

The meals are cooked, they all are just cooked in mass. Sometimes we get some good stuff at the Field Feeding Site (fancy name for leftovers) we go which is made at the DFAC. The DFAC is good, we go to breakfast some times over there. From work to the DFAC is 7 miles away so we don't eat there that much.

It is kinda hard to explain because I don't want to put to much info out over the internet.

That is good enough for me Sarge. I am glad to know that you get some enjoyable food there. And just think of how good home cooked meals will be when you do finally get them. You know what they say................ absence makes the heart grow fonder :)

LOL! AG told me one time when he was waiting for a vaping care package that he got so excited when he found out there was a pkg waiting for him. He ripped open the box with anticipation only to find it was a box of noodles :)

I remeber that! LOL. I happen to have a case of oddles in the pantry (I know sounds extreme, but when you live 45 minutes from the closest store, and have the winters we do, you stock up on that stuff) but there still has to be something that you guys are craving, missing or just wanting that I can add to the next package aside from the noodles!
