I want to say thanks for what you are doing for our troops, as a Vet, I understand the stress and conditions these men and women are enduring for our well being. I thank you for making these gifts to our brother and sisters who are maintain the vigil.
To our troops - keep your head down, stay alert, and try to stay safe. Enjoy the vapes, tips, pvs and whatever else this community has sent. It is a small token of their appreciation, becuase most of us back home know that there is really no way to thank you for the sacrifices. Carry on with honor and dillgence, and I really hope these gifts make the experience more endurable.
ya know this deployment has been a hell of a lot easier in no small part due to all these guys. I got a mini drawer full of letters and unused stuff outta the boxes I want to keep as mementos. Cheesy I know, but it has been pretty amazing.

. last thing before I take off. I made a batch of homemade torque 56 and on the flight from Istanbul it popped open and about 50 ML emptied in my pocket. I got my little row all to myself after that cause no one could speak english and the smell worried them a great deal lol.

AG, I have some bottles that I got from Ebay that will not leak. I am going to put some in the next package that you get. They are cool because the dripper fits very snug and you can squirt or drip from them. Hard to explain, but you will see.
well he was finishing chemo treatments, dude just beat cancer. But Chemo kills your immune system and he got some unknown type of pneumonia that almost got him. He was in a chemically induced coma with full on life support when I showed up and the docs brought him out long enough to see me and our dad. But he reacted a lot better than the docs thought he would so they let him go for a bit and he steadily got his bearings back enough to point at letters on a sheet of paper to communicate with us. Within 5 days of us showing, they had the respirator out of him and he started physical therapy. Now he just has to carry around one of those bottles of oxygen for a few weeks but he should be fine. All this after I got a red cross message saying he might not make it to the end of the week.

You would have turned Vet on the 7th had you been online. 1 year is quite an accomplishment that you should be very proud of.
Next time you go out to the main page of the forum, look for the ECF Veterans Lounge. Only vets are able to see it.
I am so glad to know that your brother is doing so well. I have been through similar with a family member and would not wish it on anyone. Just goes to show you that Miracles Happen to Those Who Believe
