I got the 1000mah batteries, just seemed to be a waste not to, since they are only $3 more.
Good choice, those could last you almost twice as long as the 650 mah batteries would have. They are moderately longer though, and by the time you add an attachment on top of it, they are plenty long and possibly not pocket-worthy. You may consider getting a lanyard for your batteries. Hung from around your neck, your device is always near and you won't misplace it.
As for juice, I got Ice tobacco and Cherry. I've only tried the Cherry so far but it's good. Only thing I wonder about, is the juice seems thicker than what I've seen in review videos and such, but maybe its just perception. Clearomizers hit wonderfully and since new heads are only about 2 bucks they should last me indefinitely, correct?
Nothing lasts forever. They should last you 2-4 months at minimum of relatively steady usage if you can change out the heads. That is the first thing to go on them.
Anyone have some suggestions for the best place to get juice from?
For high quality juice and large selection of different types of flavors, I'd personally recommend Virgin Vapors, VapeRite, and Dark City Vapors. I'm quite sure that all three offer samplers which could save you from wasting money on larger sized bottles should you not like them. Juice is so subjective as far as individual flavors go, just choose what sounds or looks good to you.
One question, the product info for the clearomizers says they should work well with 3.0v-4.2v devices. Does that mean if I use higher voltage it will burn them out or something? Also how do the different ohm heads and other things affect what voltage to use?
If you use those clearo's with a voltage higher than 4.2v, you may notice some burnt taste, if so, cut down the voltage a little and don't go higher again. Did the clearo's come with extra heads? Some vendors include multiple heads with different ohm ratings. If you find that you want to experiement with higher voltage, you may need to get replacement heads of a higher ohm rating. Not sure, they didn't have changable heads for clearos the last time I bought clearomizers. The subject of ohms and voltage can be a little complicated, and a little more than I wish to go into in this thread.
Thanks again for your suggestions, I am as happy as I could be!
Edit: Also what does the 50/50 60/40 20/80 refer to?
Again, happy to help a fellow vapor! The ratio stands for the pg/vg ratio of juices. Pg seems to hold more flavor and throat hit while vg provides more vapor and maybe some sweetness to the juice. Some people are adversely sensitive to pg, hence some vendors use all-vg in their juice. Vg is noticably thicker than pg, and may not wick easily. The 50/50 to 60/40 seems to be universally recognized as the standard base to begin with.
