Thread with known apv meltdowns as of Feb 2012

Full electronic control metal tube APVs are not implicated (none has ever suffered a failure of this type). Only mechanical and basic electric metal tubemods that accept two batteries have experienced an explosive failure.

Do a search on ego meltdowns and you'll see just how many egos have burned up on people. At least the cases documented on this site.

My apologies Adam for derailing your post. I too started with the blu ( disposables) then to ego types then a provari. ( I only wish someone would have pointed out the finer points of a provari and not wasting my money on the path to a dependable and durable PV. )Best advice I can give is do your homework. There is a plethora of knowledge here and a lot of people who would be glad to answer any questions you may have.
Good luck with maintaining a smoke free lifestyle and welcome to ECF.

I forgot I posted this picture the other day. Those tiny batteries "can" be enjoyable with a little tinkering (for like 15-20 mins or however long they last you) :)

I use 510 batteries every day and get about 4 hours out of them. The are perfect for vaping while online, in the car and so on. I pair them with the Stallion Hybrid from GotVapes and they give a great warm vape.
