I just have a few questions. I made the mistake of getting a free trial of Knightsticks which I cancelled. I am going to go for the joye 510. I have heard good things about it. I have read a lot of the forums. I have a problem with coughing at night. Is this normal and will it go away?

If used and maintained properly (which is easy) a Joye 510 is one of the most popular and dependable models available. As far as your coughing at night, I'm guessing that is because of your smoking cigarettes and is what is commonly called the "smokers cough". If that's what you are referring to, it will disappear in as little as one night, mine did.
One important thing to remember with the new atomizers with your 510 is to be sure to blow them out before you use them for the first time. They come with a coating of some kind of oil to prevent oxidation during storage and shipment and you need to get rid of it before you use them otherwise your first few vapes will taste like crap. Just put the threaded end of the atty in your mouth (the entire threaded portion) and with a tissue at the cart end blow hard and long. You'll notice a clear liquid coming out onto the tissue. Then take a rolled up corner of a tissue and very gently push it into the cart end (open end) to absorb any excess oil inside - do not twist the tissue. Now put the open end in your mouth and blow through the opposite direction hard, again with a tissue over the other end (threaded end). You'll notice some more oil on the tissue, then wipe the threads clean.
You've now successfully cleaned out your atty for the most part. Now once you put on your cartridge of juice and vape, don't inhale the first few vapes - just blow them out because they still won't taste very good. After a few cleaning vapes you should be all set and the flavor will improve with use. I normally do this blow-out cleaning of my attys every night and they have continued to work perfectly for more than 2 months now.
Also, make sure you wait about a minute between vapes. This gives the atty a little time to cool down (it can get very hot) and gives the juice in your cart time to be wicked onto the atty.
