Hello, I'm relatively new here, been lurking a while but never posted. I'm very new to the whole world of vaping, and would like to know if you think I should do my very best to not take up vaping. Basically, since mid-late august i found my self smoking more. It would only be socially, like the odd one outside college, and buying a 10 pack every now and again. I found myself wanting cigarettes more, and buying more often. I've always been relatively anti-smoking, not for other people, but myself. I decided to buy myself an E-lite, and found i really liked it. Some friends were surprised because they didnt consider me a smoker, and neither did I. I would enjoy using one, but should I try my best to stop totally before I buy one?

Thanks,
M

That's how we all started smoking. One or two every couple days, never thinking we'd become addicted. If your smoking cigarettes, you're a smoker. If you don't want to smoke cigarettes- vape.

I started smoking again after being smoke free for 12 years. Yeha, stupid I know. Then vaping cam along and I havn't had an analog in 27 days....and I wasn't even trying to quit! Vaping is a very enjoyable hobby to me. I like the taste, huge clouds of vapor and all of the awesome gear available. I have no intention of quitting, even if I go down to 0 nic. juice. To a smoker, it is a healthier option than smoking. Some folks just have a more addictive personality than others, so if you only occasionally smoke your best bet would be to quit while you can. Whether you choose to vape or not is up to you. Vaping is a healthier choice than smoking, but just breathing good clean air on it's own seems like the best option and it's an opinion that is hard to disagree with. :) If you do decide to vape, this forum is all you will ever need to educate yourself in all of the options available. Some vape setups are more bothersome than other, and they all have flaws. But as you read more posts you will see that the majority of folks have embraced these problems and actually improved their vaping setup over the OEM version. The top manufacturers seem very in tune with what people suggest as far as changes that should be made on their devices. (notice all of the v2,v3, etc.) So as time passes, the little problems we experience now will be even less. Only advice I can give if you do decide to vape is, KNOW YOUR GEAR. Some may work great until the juice gets down to a certian level, others may be a real nuisance if you fill them above the max line, even though there is more room in the tank etc. All that being said, I LOVE VAPING! And I wish everyone I knew vaped so that I could try out their setups and juices before I buy! lol Let us know what you decide and as you said before, there aren't many forums that take such a personal interest in helping others understand the hobby like ECF does. I know I have learned a ton of cool stuff here, and look forward to learning more!

Thank you for the replies, I've decided I will start vaping, but will try to stick to a low amount of nicotine. Thank you for the interest you have all shown. I don't know what starter kit to buy yet however. I currently have a £7 ego ce4, only temporarily. Depending on how much I am paid next week, I'll either be able to spend about £30, or £60. If i have a 60 budget, I was considering getting this
Innokin iTaste VV/VW 3.0 (XL kit) electronic cigarette | Vapourmate

Is this the best for the money, or is there a better option?

Thanks,
m

One thing though....I'm confused. In your opening post, you said you had an E-lite. Then you say you have an £7 eGo with a CE4 clearomiser.

If you like the eGo type batteries, and you don't want to vape that often, then this is a good kit....

Mini Protank Kit - Starter Kits

I bought 2 of these. I don't use the batteries much as I prefer Variable Voltage, but for the price, they are brilliant. I use the mini Protanks most of the day, every day, with the one exception that I vape at home using a carto tank on an 18650 mod.
