It's been a long, long time since I've been around. The wife and I fell off the wagon hard several months ago and went back to analogs full time. Now we're both trying to get back into vaping and once again going through that "transition phase." I could make up all sorts of excuses as to why we quit vaping but they would be just that- excuses. Be that as it may, we're giving it another shot. The one thing that I would really like to find though is a reliable 5V. I've killed two box mods thus far and working on my 3rd.

Anyhow, it's good to be back and hopefully we'll fair better this time around.

Welcome back, Willie. Have you considered joining AA (Analogs Anonymous).

I probably should.
I've been "rediscovering" some of the juices I have sitting around and wonder now how I ever gave this up.
I have a wild coffee concoction that I created from a bunch of leftover juices I had. I forgot how amazing it was. Unfortunately, it's one of those I'll never be able to recreate so once it's gone, it's gone for good. Plus it gunks up cartos like crazy.

Have you considered big batteries @ 3.7v with low ohms? It isn't exactly the same, but that's working well for me. If fact, I don't feel any hurry to fix my 5v PT which broke a couple of months back. In cartos, the boge 2.0, the duel coil 1.5 and 2.0 and the lr ego t are a few that's worth researching as they all have mostly good reviews.

edit: I'm not trying to steer you away from 5v and hopefully some others that use 5v devices will chime in. :vapor:

I've actually thought about that. We have a long running thread about e-cigs over on another forum that I frequent. The admin of that forum is using a 1100mAh KGO Battery with EMDCC cartos and is very happy with the results.

I really don't relish spending megabucks for another 5V but I love the results and the cheap battery box mods are not built to endure over long periods of time. I've had my 3rd one for just a few weeks and it is already showing signs of going flakey.

Welcome back! Second time's a charm. If you keep throwing things at the wall, it will stick. :)

I have enough problems with my mods. I don't think throwing them at the wall will help. :D

Thanks all for the welcomes and well wishes.
There but for the grace of vaping go I! ;)
