I'm back and need help!

So, my last post here was around September of 2009. I was a vapaholic, for sure. I loved it... until my last atomizer died and I had to wait until I got my order. I figured that going to analogs for a few days until my order showed up would be no big deal.

I was wrong. I tried to get back to the ecig after I received my order but for some reason, I just couldn't pull it off. Don't know why, but. I was upset with myself because I had been quit for like, 17 weeks with really no problems whatsoever.

Well, I'm back. I want to make the switch to the ecig again, but here are a couple issues that I had with my previous attempt that I'm wondering if any of you could provide some insight on.

1) Vapor. I know that the Joye 510 puts (put?) out a lot of vapor. I feel that I need more. What can I switch to to get even more vapor? juice, batteries, atomizers, other?

2) juice. Yuck. I don't know if it's just me, but vary rarely was I ever able to find a juice that came anywhere near what the bottle described the flavor as. I do know, though, that the sweet stuff isn't for me. I need it to taste like an analog, or close to.

So, guide me, if you can. It's kind of a catch 22, I guess. I don't want to spend a ton of money and fall off the wagon again, but by not spending a ton of money and getting something that's going to suit my vapor desire, I'll probably fall off the wagon.

Input?

Thanks! :toast:

Well for good vapor I found that a JOYE510 does best. I only buy real atty's (joye brand) and they last me months.
In addition for good vapor you can go with 100% VG

For taste I would say try bluemistvaping tobacco flavors. they are realy good. I daily vape the "clove tobacco" they also have 100% VG juice.

I get the 100% VG but only 'cause PG gives me the skitters!

I would suggest the ego tank system and if you want a analog tasting juice try freedomsmoke usa Purecig or purecig with menthol. They just came out with the lr tank atty. I just got them from totally wicked for $11. You can use the reg ego or riva batteries with the tank attys and they are pretty cheap these days. Oh welcome back

Nothing beats a good Mod unit in terms of performance. Also, longer-lasting batteries on most Mods may help you stick to vaping. I have a Darwin mod and it's been great so far... great battery-life, superb vapor, adjustable power settings to find that right spot for flavor, etc. I'm sure other mods are similar in performance and advantages they offer. As for good Tobacco flavor, there are many from Vapor Station that are nice. You should get their Sampler Pack (10 x 5ml Sampler) for $25 and try them out.

Good luck.

Welcome back !! Here's my suggestions to your questions. Purchase an Ego from Liberty Flights. I haven't looked lately but I think they still have kits at $39.99. I don't do tobacco juices but I've read often people that want a cig tasting juice really like FSUSA's Purecig and also read lots of great reviews about Vapor Stations tobacco flavors. Hope whatever you chose works for you and keeps you on the vaping wagon !!!

The eGo or Riva kits are good, and the batteries last longer than the regular 510s, so they also keep the voltage up for longer. That said, however, the eGo and Riva kits are actually still 3.2 volt batteries, just like the 510, though they use the same threading. A mod, even an inexpensive one like the Rough Stack from MadVapes, is 3.7 volt. And that extra .5 volts will produce more vapor on the same resistance atomizer or cartomizer.
You can also, if you have at least a Riva or eGo battery of 650mah or higher, switch to low resistance atomizers/cartomizers and get a bit more vapor. Atomizers can be bought as low resistance as 1.5 ohm, cartomizers at 2.0 ohm. Either would definitely give you more flavor, vapor and th.
I find that 1.5 ohm atomizers can "scorch" the flavors though, depending on what you vape. 2.0 ohm is a good range on a 3.7v battery. I also really like 3.2 ohm (standard resistance) cartomizers on my 5 volt GLV2 from Great Lakes Vapor. There are also variable volt mods like the Provari from Provape which let you adjust voltage till you get exactly the vape that you like.

Make sure you always have plenty of spare attys, juice and long lasting batteries at hand. You never know when you might need them. I prefer at least 900 mah batteries and mega carts that hold at least 2 mil of juice. They give the most vapor and throat hits. I like the Virgina and Tennessee tobacco juice from madvapes because it is the cheapest and tastes great. Buying large amounts of juice at good prices allows you to keep plenty on hand and you do not have to constantly order more every week.
Good luck on staying off cigarettes, your life depends on it!

I'm pretty sure that the eGo-T atomizer will screw onto and work with the standard 510 battery. Threads are the same, since the eGo/Riva batteries use 510 atomizers. It will be a size mismatch, the atomizer cone is the standard fat-bat size at the base.

Also, if your 510 battery is manual, the button may be under the edge of the cone, as the cone comes down quite a ways from the atomizer connection. 1/4" or thereabouts.

Mattrox,
Ok, I am home sick today, so i had some time to kill on the puter. First i must whiplash you, Ha. A true VAPEAHOLIC would never, never, never run out of atties, juices, batts etc etc. PERIOD. So first lesson for you is no matter what route you take to get back in the swing, BACK IT UP.
Ok, now for the fun part. I have been vapin since September of 09.. Haven't grown two heads yet so i guess vapin is pretty safe. (that is for all the newbies that are so worried about their health.)
I have used a variety of pv's and for the past year have been using the xhaler with the cisco 306 drip tip. Pretty damn amazing. I have been looking at the ego t or ovale just for the fact of filling a tank and not having to drip. BUT, Greyrat turned me on to the GoGo. Simply awesome.. I purchased that for like 60 bucks from Nhaler, and it is very nice. I am not a reviewer but, something like this. 1300 mah batt. (looks like a ego, but is not). Cart holds a monster 80 to 100+ drops of liquid. and I have used it now for two days. Full, Full flavor, nice heavy vapor, but i will say it does have a airy draw. which i guess really helps the flavor.. So that would be my recommendation..
Good luck and welcome back
