Hi. I don't use anything but kanthal and never tc but I've seen videos where ppl are vaping 0.15 coils so is that a tc build he's talking 'bout?
I don't know, just wondered if that is what nichrome is used for??

Have no idea how low you can go with them. Is his build still far too low?

NiChrome 80 Isn't a suitable Wire Alloy to be use in TC Mode.

Fine for VV or VW or Unregulated. In fact, some people (like myself) prefer the Taste of NiChrome 80 over Kanthal(s). And NiChrome 80 has a Faster Ramp-Up time than Kanthal(s) I believe.

I have No Idea what the OP is using to Power the rda he likes some well. Only that the Ohms of his stated Builds are Very Low.

It Isn't that the NiChrome 80 can't be used at such Low Ohms. It's what Demands are you putting on a Battery(s) for ANY Wire Alloy at such Ohms?

There are a few regulated power devices that claim to have a functioning NiCr temp control / temp limiting mode.
I have no idea if they actually work.

I am unaware of any regulated power device that claims to be able to fire down to .03Ω in a non temp control mode, volt,watt,power,bypass.

From past interaction with the OP I can make a reasonable guess and say he is all about the 'pulse', 'burst', 'instantaneous'.

Hey guys I've been an ECF member for nearly a decade now, and I'm just going to give you guys the important details.
-Don't vape the pre-made "atomizers", they pretty much suck.
-Don't vape the tank filled caromizers, they also suck.
-DO start vaping with RDA'S (Rebuildable Dripping Atomizers.)

There's TONS of youtube tutorials on how to vape with an RDA, and it's the best option, HANDS DOWN...I'm currently vaping a perfect RDA with .03 ohms, and it's INSTANT cloud chasing and/or satisfaction. It may take you a while to get here but trust me, it's vaping nirvana)

It's very thick gauge Nichrome, and about 8-10 wraps for BOTH, I'll let you pros figure out the gauge. Trust me, one or four won't cut it, it has to be 2 of .08 ohms or lower, honestly .05 is a little slow, and .03 is a little fast for the heat up. Just trust me.

Sorry to have to burst your bubble, actually the perfect way to vape is the Kanger Pro Tank II on a Provari 2.5.

The rest of it is marketing fluff. I don't blame people who fall for it, it's not their fault. Think of it like motorcycles. When Triumph brought out the Speed Twin that should have been the end of the story. Everything you could ever want from a motorcycle was right there in front of you. But companies can't make enough profit selling Pro Tanks and Speed Twins forever so they keep on introducing "improvements" and "features" and so forth with ads showing pretty girls in shorts just to keep you spending. I used to be a sucker for that stuff myself believe it or not.

Anyway, I got to go. It's been a couple of hours since I topped up the oil in my Speed Twin and I need to go throw a couple more cans in there before it runs dry.

The hohm slice can fire down to .000001 ohms and the hohm wrecker can fire down to .007 ohms. Those are the lowest regulated mods I have seen. I have built pretty low before on crazy builds but haven't gone that low yet.

BTW - I wonder what amount of Watts would I need to Heat a Coil that is .007 Ohms?

Using our beloved Ohm law we can easily calculate that to get output of 100 W with 0.000001 ohm we need voltage of 0.01V and current of 10,000 A. Interesting battery it has, hasn't it?

Heck, at those Amps, you Don't even Need a Coil. It would just Arc between the Poles.

Oh no problem here. I got thick skin on most occasions. I do find the .000001 ohm thing a bit dubious. I don't own either yet so can tell you for sure but I think it might have some capacitors in it or something.
