Cobber.... Dude I am sooooooooooooooooooo on the same page as you.

I have a full bottle of ejoker you can have if you want it? I think I remember you mentioning you liked it at the vape meet.

I still have a half bottle that I hit once in a while to try and help with that feeling, and it helps for a while.

Yeah I go through that as well. Sometimes I just suck it up and/or try to use juices that aren't on my fav list. This means not being fully satisfied, except for the fact that I'm using up stuff I spent money on.

Mixing up different flavs together can also help.

Putting aside my ADV's for a few days or longer usually brings back my appreciation for them - absence makes the heart grow fonder :). Still haven't found the ONE, but I remind myself of how often I would smoke a cig and it would taste just awful, like at break time in the winter, sucking back an analog quickly and it's just disgusting, especially without a coffee or beverage in hand. We just didn't have a choice, so I except my "no juice is cutting it" days as equivalent to not really enjoying smoking cig days.

Definitely changing up the flavors, even using unflavored, helps you get through. Menthol is my favorite "spice", it can be used to add a little extra to any juice.

Have fun with your juice, mix and match, you never know what you may come up with. My refrigerator does not contain only one food. My cupboards do not contain only Kraft Dinner (although KD is there!).

Like food, sometimes we look at all of it and there is nothing we want, or, as they kids would say when looking at a refrigerator full of food, "There's nothing to eat!" Lol

It's just another fact of life. Have fun with it because you will have other times when you may vape the same flavor for days at a time.

Mix it UP and Enjoy!

I have a little stash of about 20 or so different flavours from different vendors. On those days where "Nothing will do", I start experimenting with an Atty and drip-tip.. 1 drop of this, with 2 drops of that... blow out.. repeat with different juices..

When all else fails, I fall back to the 24mg Menthol. The huge throat hit is usually enough to calm me down for a while. I can't vape it all the time, but there are days where it's the only thing that will keep me going.

I read our taste buds change literally every 10-20 days. This would account for differences in the flavours of some juices. I just get a plain ol`bland taste when the buds die out. Trying a mint, menthol, cinnamon or citrus for a few days always helps. Has anyone done a post on taste buds yet....I think this is an important aspect to understand as a vaper.

Personally, I can detect sour, and salty but the bitter and sweet buds aren`t on full duty, which is why I don`t have an issue with a sweet vape.

Here is a really basic pic of the area of our tastebuds:
