Yep. I bought pipecleaners. I cut them in 4 T3 length peices and have about a zillion. Every fillup, on ALL my clearoz (T3s, EVODs, and now a ProTank) I just run in one way through the airhole. I actually usually do it BEFORE filling, and then just fill carefully...
They then vape like new - no gurgles or anything. There is usually a tiny drop of juice the pipecleaner picks up - and I just toss it.

I did what you suggested and it worked! I had just a small leak onto the battery post but that was my fault. Someone else suggested using a small pipe cleaner. Wonder if that would work better than a toothpick and paper towel though. Also, I'm getting two different answers on which end to blow into. Do I blow into the mouth piece or the connector end?

They won't screw far enough down to stay put WITHOUT an adapter. But if you get an 808->eGo adapter, they'll screw on perfectly. Then you'll be all set to try all those other devices too, and really drive yourself nuts.

If you manage to find an 808->eGo adapter in stock, you might want to get an 808->510 one too, even though you don't need it yet. Those seem to be hard to come by too, and you just never know. Hope you don't use automatic batts. If you do, you might have to modify adapters to work, according to Awesum.

?

An ego spinner? If it has ego threads, the eVod will fit perfectly.

I have two SI T3 tanks and both leak. One of the tanks came with a replacement bottom and that also leaks! I tried the toothpick method and still no luck. One of the tanks is a mini and the other is a 2.4 ml full size. When they came in the mail I thought the rubber o-rings were just for packaging and discarded them, was that a big mistake and are the tanks useless now? I was able to find and replace the bottom ring on the base but the thicker ring is still in the trash somewhere. Should I just buy more replacements from SI or is there any way to fix this with the rings missing? Does anybody have suggestions on a good vendor to buy the 808 to 510 adapters?
Thanks in advance.

Sitting down, facing forward.
B I L, going back to the alternate battery question for a moment...I have X2s, iTaste VV V2s and Vamos, but I still use 78mm autos daily. I get about two hours of use out of them and I use CE3s on them. They really can't be beat when my hands are to busy to work the manuals.

I use T3s, both SI and Kanger and have yet to have a leak. I've been using them since they came out, from both sources, and really like them, other than the airiness which I fix with some thick instant glue. I've also rebuilt them, because I'm cheaper than dirt, and think I can keep them going until I end up dropping them all and breaking the tanks. One more comment is to blow through the battery end after filling them to clear any liquid from the air tube without overloading the atomizer chamber.

Yeah... I think you tossed one of the seals. Without those, you'll leak around the base no matter what you do. The leaking issues with the T3 are related to the coil base... if they leak from the tank base, there is something wrong.

You may be able to track down o-rings that fit in the plumbing section at a hardware store, but the ones you pulled might be messed up.

Order some more, but try to fix them anyhow.

What o-rings are you guys talking about on the T3? Can someone snap a pic for me? With a head bottom-side-down on a table, I seea really skinny silicone one right under the thread to the tank and just above the knurl. Then above the thread, a fat gasket just below the coil, then above that the cap that slides over the coil. Am I missing one somewhere else?

Here is the pic of the rubber O-rings from the SI website. To bad for me that they are out of stock :(, may be i can just ask for a couple of the rings along with my next order of cartos.

You're missing the skinny one under the threads? How about clear silicone o-rings for body jewelry? The existing one is about 9-10mm I.D./11-12mm O.D. (mine was a little contorted when I pulled it off). I'm pretty sure that 00ga is +/- 8mm I.D./10mm O.D., so I'm guessing you'd need 7/16" (also called 000 gauge - next size up). The thickness of these is usually 1-1.5mm. Haven't tried this though, so if it works tell us. They're really stretchy, so you can be off by a little bit. Just can't be too big.
Here's one:
V060 Replacement Silicone Clear O Rings Bands Seals 14g to 1 1 4" 2 5mm to 32mm | eBay

And no, I don't have ear plugs or other weird piercings other than the ones on my ear lobes. I just like o-rings.

SOME crack.. the neck where the metal tube meets the mouthpiece is thin and takes stress... nothing to worry about. I had one start to crack, but it's also three or four months old and was my only one for most of that time...

If someone told me that I'd get 4 months of near constant use and abuse out of a $6 clearo, I'd be fine with that.

haha I'm "liking" all these posts because I ordered twice as many as B I L did and 50 heads! Might even go back for more before the sale's up!

With all the happy people and just a handful whose EVODs cracked, I'm not that worried now. I'm wondering too if some of those cracked EVODS might've been clones from FastTech (but for their 10pk price, I might have to get some of those too). I really like these. Almost as much as my Vision VT, and way more than the T3. You'd think they'd be the same, since they're both BCCs made by the same people, but nope. Much nicer. I wish we could replace the clear drip tips though. I don't like the way they fog up. But I like them way better than the binky-looking black ones on the T3. And my macaroon tastes like a real cookie now. Thanks, everybody!

I think the bases of the new T3S are made similar to the Evods cutting down on the airiness of the original T3's. Plus the replacement coils are soooo much cheaper coming 5 in a pack.

In a way, I like seeing through the Evod driptip because it lets me know how much condensation collects in all driptips.

Now I make sure to clean and soak all my driptips more thoroughly. I use a piece of pipecleaner to clear them occasionally while they are in use because it can look rather nasty... especially to someone who is a non-vaper.

These are my favorite bottom coils hands down. :thumb:
