I'm excited about flavorless

I know this is stupid, and many others do this regularly, but I'm excited to announce that I'm completely satisfied with flavorless VG/PG mix. I always felt that many of the liquid-makers used way too much flavoring for my taste. Some of them that I've tried are so strong that they make me cough. I guess I'm just sensitive to many of them. This is unfortunate, because this is what got me away from vaping and back to smoking the first time. I couldn't inhale any of the mixes I was getting. The real problem was that I was using prefilled carts, but that's another story. Even recently after ordering from most vendors, I couldn't use the stuff. Too strong.

I decided to take a stab at DIY, and I placed an order from WL a few weeks ago. I also ordered some flavorings. Now, I only ordered 24mg (which is what I vape) so I didn't have to worry about diluting. (Which was also silly, because I should've ordered 36mg to account for flavoring dilution.) Anyway, I decided to try some unflavored today. So I took 1ml of PG and 1ml of VG and put them right into my tank. Mixed well and let sit for brief periods while shaky shaky in between.

vaping flavorless to me is the closest thing that I've found to smoking. I've tried quite a few tobacco flavors from different vendors, and none of them really satisfied me 100%. 50-50 VG/PG is excellent for me. I've finally found my ADV!

Now, that's not to say that I will be sticking with this forever. From what I've read, it's pretty easy to get tired of one flavor (or flavorless). But let's look at it this way. For those of us that smoked the same brand year after year after year, there was never a flavor change. It was always the same, nasty, smoky, ash tray taste. So, how bad could this be?

I have 150ml of each PG and VG from WL, so I'm set for a while. I'll keep an eye on their stock and try to get in some 36mg or maybe even 48mg of each so I can experiment more with flavorings. I think I'll like the flavorings that I do because I'll make them much weaker than most vendors do. Some people complain about weak tasting juice, but I'll probably like it.

Unflavored juice is in my regular rotation. Sometimes it just hits the spot when nothing else does. You say a lot of the juices you have are too strong, you can dilute them with the unflavored and still have 24mg juice that you can vape. I'd try small batches at first to find the right ratio. Some of them might turn out really good for you after you've toned them down. Be sure to keep good notes so you can repeat the results. It sucks to come up with the perfect juice and then not being able to duplicate it.

Man, I didn't even think about that! Good idea. Especially the fruit flavors with me are way too strong. I've got some blueberry mixes that I love the smell of, but can't vape it at all. Mint flavor is another one that I have problems with. I guess it wouldn't be a bad thing being dependent on juices from vendors, if all you needed was a few drops here and there to add to your base :)
