i don't know what it is,
maybe these vendors have things mixed up or i'm stupid.
i keep reading all these blogs or tutorials or whatever.

cartomizer, tanks, cartotank, clearomizer.

i thought a cartimizer was the cigarette but look a like thingy.
and a carto tank was the wick less cartomizer inside a tank.
and a clearomizer has the wicks that hang.

I'm tired of wicks. i need something to give me a warm vape without the wicks.
i'm thinking of going all the way back to cartomizers...
but i'm confused when i go to buy them cuz some cartomizers have wicks.
some cartotanks have wicks.
i can't tell what i need.
i don't want to build anything.

i tried bcc but they aren't warm enough for me.

thinking of the new bcd since it doesn't really have long wicks.
but i don't know would it just be easier to buy some 510 cigarette .... looking things.

i'm overwhelmed and p.o.'d with burning all the time.
i guess i chain vape and i think that the wicks don't have enough time to saturate before i hit again.

i right now am using t4's that's the only way i can get a not burnt taste.
but when it gets hot i get alot of juice in my mouth.

i notice the more wicks a clear has the burnt it tastes,
the longer the wicks are the more burnt it tastes.

does anyone have any suggestions for me?

i've been at this a month and i'm dropping money left and right on tanks or carts or clearo's or i don't even know what's what anymore. i'll t hink ihave an idea until i go to buy something and then i just get confused.

please help me out.

i'm not trying to piece together and build. i don't want to buy special tools to build a cart.

I want a warm vape.
and preferable stop the dang twirly swirly dance i have to do.
it's like anything with a wick you can't get less than half full or it burns.
so i'm constantly topping off,

which basically means i'm just smoking analogs cuz i'm frustrated.

ideas, thoughts, reccomendations are really appreciated. tia!

Hi, Ladie,
I just posted this on the Itazte 3 thread.
I know lots of folks hate FT
but these:
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1392700
are the best toppers I have found (for me)
FT calls them CE5s, but I don't think that is what they are based on descriptions I have seen.
They are 'wickless' and wonderful
Inexpensive and NON fiddly.
I just love them.
I have Ce 4s, evods, mini protanks, 1 and 2s and one Davide.
But these FT clearos are the best for me so far.
Lovely warm vape. Reliable, last forever. (Oh, yeah, and VERY inexpensive.)
disregard if you, like so many others, have a disdain for FT.

Clearo = plastic tank with top placed wicks
Carto = metal tube with poly fill wrapped around the coil
Carto tank = carto inside a tank - holes punched in the metal tube so that the juice in the tank gets sucked into the carto as you vape

Another alternative: bottom coil/bottom wicked tanks like Protank/Davide - the wicks are always saturated in liquid and there is no twisting, tilting, or dancing needed.

I'm not going to be able to make any recommendations (I'm a dripper) but let's see if I can clear up the terminology for you.
I thought a cartimizer was the cigarette but look a like thingy. This is a cartridge. A cartomizer is a cartridge and atomizer in one
and a carto tank was the wick less cartomizer inside a tank.A carto tank is a tank you put the carto inside
and a clearomizer has the wicks that hang. This is pretty much right. It's essentially a carto tank with wicks instead of holes for the juice to get into the carto

I'm tired of wicks. i need something to give me a warm vape without the wicks.
i'm thinking of going all the way back to cartomizers...
but i'm confused when i go to buy them cuz some cartomizers have wicks.Actually all cartos have wicks or wicking material
some cartotanks have wicks.

but i don't know would it just be easier to buy some 510 cigarette .... looking things. These suck worse than anything you've tried so far

i guess i chain vape and i think that the wicks don't have enough time to saturate before i hit again.

does anyone have any suggestions for me?
The only thing I would be able to recommend would be to try dripping or a bottom feeder, but I suspect some of the members with more experience of cartos, clearos etc will have other suggestions.

right now i'm stuck using T4's it's crazy the cheapest darn thing i can buy is making me the happiest. what's up with that. i want that same taste i and warmth but easier to clean and preferable bigger lol.

i tried the t3s it's close but not the same.

maybe i could try a new juice in it. i love the idea of bcc's, easier to clean, easier to fill. they are just cold on my throat.
i'm hoping to get something similar to a bcc with the warmth.

honestly should it be this hard?

What I get from what you wrote is that you want a warmer vape, you are tired of clearos, you are tired of wicks, you want something easy.

Okay!

Go to Madvapes, hoosiercig, electronicstix, etc and order some Boge 2.0 LR stainless steel cartomizers. They will all but ensure you a warm vape. Low res cartomizers = warm vape. No wicks, no bottom coils. You can purchase punched cartos as well, and those are for use in a tank. There are many tanks out there, I recommend ordering a tank from whatever vendor you choose to buy cartos from. It is easier to buy prepunched cartos when you are starting out, so try to find those. If you can't, we can recommend a carto punch for you.

Order 1 or 2 boxes of cartos. Watch Baditude's tutorial on carto filling and tank use. He is the guru of all things carto and tank.

Deep breathe......watch videos......order cartos and a tank. It will get you the warmth you like without the nasty burnt wick flavor of clearos. PM me anytime if you have questions. :)

If you want a warmer vape, you'll need to get LR (low resistance) cartomizers (1.5 - 1.8 ohm), single coil.

What I'm reading is you are sick of juice attachments that use wicks.

All cartomizers (wad of pollyfill material) and clearomizers (string wicks) have some type of wicking material. The only juice attachment that does not use wicks is a dripping atomizer. Picture Dictionary of Common Juice Attachments

atomizer-3.jpg

With a drip atomizer you drop a few drops of juice into it and vape. Only good for several draws, then you must add a few more drops.

A bottom feeder mod (usually a mechanical box mod) uses one of these drip atomizers, but has a built-in tank inside the mod's body. Through a window in the mod, you press the juice tank which feeds juice up backwards into the atomizer. The simplicity and full flavor of a drip attomizer with the convenience of a tank.

These are very popular among ECF members and have a loyal fan base.

I believe that would work. I do not use cartomizers or tanks. You can not return products so I suggest that you find a vape shop near you and go and look at some to make sure that is what you want. You are in Virginia Beach, that is a large enough area, there should be one around. Do a google search. Most vape shops are very helpful and have a variety of products. Some seem to carry more ego and clearomizer stuff. Go find the Forum area where you can find threads on cartomizers and tanks and do some reading. There are pros and cons for any device. You can read up on those in the threads before you spend more money.

Pioneer Vapes on Pleasure House road is in Virginia Beach. Go check them out. It says they will let you try out equipment and juices.

do you think that the new aspire bdc might be a good option to try?
i watched the video on it, and i've asked around and am told it's a warmer vape

These are just now coming into the stores. Based soley from history and experience, I personally believe its best to wait before purchasing an entirely new type of product until the bugs get worked out with subsequent versions. This happens repeatedly with new products, and unless you want to risk spending money as one of the first guinea pigs, I'd hold off until more customer reviews are known.
