Here's a quick rundown of my experience with the CE2's;

The clearomizers dont perform quite as well as the metal ones, but performance is similar.
The clearomizers break/crack way to easily due to weak plastic (G4 is much stronger).
They are too time consuming to refill imo, so much so, I've given up on them and moved to the G4.
They perform great in general, good flavor, TH, vapor.
The inner cap breaks to easily (I don't use a syringe to refill them).
Cutting angled grooves from the wick notches of the inner cap can improve wicking performance.
They can leak quite badly, especially when the weather is warm.
They actually tend to leak more if you store them in the rubber sleeves.
The coil area becomes clogged too often, requiring you to blow through the threaded end to remove the excess juice.
They can last months if you use clear juice.
The coil carbonizes very quickly with dark juice.
The vapor is warm/hot which imo improves the flavor in general.
Sometimes hot juice can hit your tongue if there is juice buildup on the coil.
Removing the middle ring seems to make them perform better.

i agree mostly but i will add that most of the liquid that hits my tongue isn't juice its condensation that builds in the tip therefore i use a clear drip til so i can see it as it builds up and wipe clean as necessary which for me is every 30 min or so if i'm chain vaping

If you use a CE2 in a "Tank System" like a MAP Tank or GP-SSR you eliminate the issues that I put a line through.

I haven't experience the issues in red when using a CE2 in a Tank System.

I would say the vapor is warmer and not hot at all.

I have not used a CE2 prior to revision 4.

I have only used CE2's in a Tank System.

I do not use dark juices.

I haven't really had an issue with condensation, but then again my juice is very low in Nic strength. If juice enters the mouth, it's a tasty treat :p

The clearomizers work well for chain vaping. I vape them with no seals/rings in at all and top up when the juice gets below 50%. You need to keep them upright obviously.

The G4's also work well when using a 5v USB passthrough (actual voltage is 4.5v with my passthrough). That's with the mouthpiece inserted since refilling only takes a few seconds.

Agreed, they do work well in tank systems.

Mine are probably hot because of my setup. True 3.7v mechanical mod, KR808 threaded, 2.8ohm, R4.

Now that I've realized that I'm getting condensation i actually enjoy it a little sometimes too its the flavor without the scary tingly/burning sensation. lol

I really want a automatic juice feeder attachment. The squeeze bottle type feeders don't appeal to me. I don't want to do anything but vape. My mod of choice is provari. I don't want to use anything else, but I want it to feed like a juice box mod. I can't believe this issue isn't totally solved by now. I saw a review by igetcha69 (Scott bonner) where he demonstrated a juice feeder for the alpha ultramax. Seemed like it was perfect for me but it's proprietary to the alpha Pv's. They need to make a universal one. Scott stated it has little to no flaws.

Outside of just having to pop the top cap off and fill my tank, I've went through a 30ml bottle of juice before having to break down my tank system and clean it. I'm working on my second 30ml bottle. I think thats pretty good. It has been way, way, way better than dripping.

Since I switched to a tank system it's more like I want to mess around with it instead of having to mess around with it.

I'm using a 3.2 Ohm CE2 on a ProVari at 4.5 volts.

I think were pretty close to getting something better. We'll see!

This is the way I use them also. I first tried the metal ce2s about two months ago. I still have four out of the five, but they're laid aside for the last couple of weeks so I can test the clearos. I have two of those going at the moment. One is filled for out and about and one for dripping. So far I haven't had any cracking or leaking, but they haven't seen a whole lot of use yet. I've been rotating them with a couple of duel coils. I have a five pack or duel coils and another five pack of clearos coming in the mail, so I should be set for awhile.

I have a love/hate relationship with CE2's. the only thing I use them for now is guts for my MAP tanks. A good one is a really nice vaping experience. A bad one is just frustrating, annoying,... and just plain sucks.

I put one in the tank earlier today. I forgot to ohm test it (how many times do I need to learn this lesson with these darn E2's?). It's supposed to be 2.8. After getting almost no vapor out of it, I unscrewed it and put the meter on. 3.9 ohms. Wicks great and works OK on 5 volts, but that isn't how I intended to use it.

The one I replaced wicked perfectly and I went through 5 full tanks before cleaning it. Another 3 tanks before I decided to throw it out. It was a good one.

The one before that ohmed out good but didn't wick worth a darn. Moded the silicone ring and it wicked OK for about 4 ml. Then it wouldn't wick. Out it went.

That's how it goes with E2s. Good ones are great, and if they aren't good out of the box, learn to mod them or learn to not get too angry at the expense of having to throw them away.

Unfortunately they will produce hairline cracks and break eventually even when treating them very carefully, which is a shame since I really do like the performance of the clearomizers or CE2's in general. They are just not fit for on-the-go usage in the long run. The metal ones work fine but I need a clear carto so I can tell when they need refilling rather than guessing if I need to refill then everyday. If RoyalSmokers used the same plastic as the G4's, the clearomizers would be so much better imo.

I just received my first 5 pack of clear CE2 rev5 XL's at 3ohm from myvaporstore yesterday so I have not had much time with them.

All were correct ohm 3.0 and I am using on my 5v mod. I took the cap and ring out (left them out)...syringe filled (reg needle not the flimsy crap one)...primed coil with 2 drops popped in a drip tip and have just vaped away .

I do notice that if I chain vape with them right side up I get a bit of a dry hit but that is nothing but a quick tip to soak the upper parts of the wicks can't fix immediately. Not a big deal imo.

So far I have refilled 4 times when it gets down to about 20% full. It takes all of a min or two to do and I'm back to vaping.

No leaks or issues really at all.

I must have got a good one here :)
